Motley Crue/def leppard/etc

Anyone else happen to go last night?  I thought poison and Def Leppard killed it.  They were worth the 2 year wait. Joan Jett still rocks.  Crue band wise was awesome but vince meal sounds like a downing cat getting raped by a fox.  Otherwise a fun show though.

crue is horrible at this point. i watched the supposed farewell concert on Axis. neal is toast and i refuse to go see them. it sucks because crue is hands down, my favorite "hair band". actually one of my fav bands of all time.

i dont think def leppard is as bad, but elliot is not the same. age kills rock voices. i saw joan jett right before covid hit and you are correct, she can still bring it.

Yeah vince meal is definitely past his best by date 😆 the band itself was pretty tight musically.  He was just mostly incoherent the entire show.

joe Elliot was surprisingly still very good. He hit the high notes on everything without too much struggle.  And I forgot how damn good Phil Collen is on guitar.  They played 4 new songs which was a mistake IMO. They wanted to promote the new album and had physical CDs they were selling.  In like, can anyone even play those anymore? 😂

makes you wonder how maiden still tours when halford, not hitting the exact notes, is still killing it.

idk, i saw a recent video of def leppard and elliot sounded tired. maybe  dont get me wrong, i'm not saying he's down to neal's level. band wise you are right, they are still very tight.

This comment is funny because literally half the crowd stepped out of 1983 yesterday and the other half was their illegitimate kids.

some folks need to let go of the 80's. its not a good look.

although, the styles of the 80's seem to be making a comeback. i just had to have an intervention with my 15yr old after he said he wanted to grow a mullet.
