Anyone have youtube tv outside the Philly area and changed the zip code to Philly ??  Is there any additional Eagles programming I will get by doing this ??

I don't think it works with YouTube tv. You would have to change the VPN. @VaBeach_Eagle knows the ins ant outs of it.

They have an option in the setting to change zip code.  You can do it twice per year.

I don't recall it working way back when I was trying to find live streaming tv to do so. Playstation streaming was good with it and I know vabeach got it to work with fubotv with the vpn but not YouTube tv. I think if you put the Philly zip code in it will reject it or it will keep changing to your area. 

They have all mostly caught on to that zip code stuff.

You would get the NBC sports Philly channel with the pre and post game shows.

I tried YouTube TV a while back. I don't recall exactly what the issues were, that caused me to abandon it, but it didn't work the way I wanted. Thinking back, I don't think the VPN worked on their system.

After they got rid of Philly Sports Talk and later, Quick Slants, I lost all 'week day' interest on their programming.

There's still Pre and Post Game Live, of course. But that's one day a week. When those other two shows were running, there were 6 days per week with Eagles coverage (during the season). During the offseason, there was still 5 days per week with Eagles coverage of some kind with Quick Slants.  

possible tip for youtube tv users.  I read that the pic quality for nfl games is better if you watch through the network's app rather than ytv. just log in using your ytv credentials. 

I'm trying it today on the fox sports app...so we'll see.

I have DIRECTV stream. I like it a lot. I just wish they offered Sunday ticket through it.

the eagles' game looked really good on the fox sports app...no issues at all.  the snf game buffered once that i can remember while watching on the peacock app.

looked fine on yttv on my brothers 77" tv too. wasnt 4k though. did the fox app broadcast 4k?

NFL coverage looks great on Hulu. I ended up watching the new post game show with Mike Miss, Seth Joyner, and D Gunn. I had to log on to Youtube for that though. It's also on 6abc.com. Not sure why they don't just put it on regular tv. 

I've been looking at YouTube TV and see it gets advertised with no DVR space limitations but it says it deletes recordings after 9 months. Have any of you lost shows you procrastinated to watch because of this?

Ive never had a problem with it. As long as reruns are airing, it records the rerun and saves it for 9 months.

I haven't had it long enough to know but it records all episodes of shows, new or reruns.  Some things I don't like about the DVR are that you can't delete shows you've watched so it gets cluttered.  I also don't like the fact that it records all episodes of shows, I got used to DirecTV where you could select it to only record new episodes.  These are minor issues and overall we are very happy with YouTube TV.

you can mark epidodes and seasons watched, that helps with knowing where you are in a show, if thats the issue youre having

How do you mark them?  I am watching mostly on a smart TV with the app or Firestick.  When I watch an episode it marks it as watched or there is a red progress bar showing where you are if you haven't finished the show but I could find a way to select and mark episodes or series.  There are some that we quit watching but they stay on there for 9 months.  It would be nice if you could delete them.  It's a minor inconvenience though.
