April 5, 20232 yr Saw it a few days ago. True to form: Scant plot and insane action. During the closing credits I Googled that Wick killed an estimated 140 opponents over the course of the nearly 3 hour long movie. If you love the franchise, you'll love the movie.
June 8, 20232 yr Just watched last night. Insane action as expected, over the top but fun. At times though it felt like a spoof of a John Wick movie. The guy in the fat suit playing Killa I could not help think of Fat Bast.ard from Austin Powers, and Donnie Yen in his turtleneck and aviator sunglasses like Ken Jueng's character in the Hangover movie. I'm not sure if they're purposely trying to use a lot of visual references to the Matrix or not, I mean having Lawrence Fishburne was already a lot. The action is fun and creative and the visuals are good.
