The Eagles have a fairly long list of free agents coming up. Who would YOU make an effort to get under contracrt between now and free agency in 2023?

Here's the list -

  • QB Minshew
  • RB Sanders and Scott
  • WR Pascal and Ward (granted Ward may not make this year's team)
  • C Kelce (probably fgoing to reitre)
  • G Seumalo, Opeta, Clark
  • TE JJAw (probably not an issue)
  • DT Hargrave and Cox
  • DE Graham and Barnett
  • LB White and Edwards
  • S Harris, Epps, and Taart
  • CB Bradberry
  • LS Lovato

That's 10 starters. Sanders, Kelce, Seumalo, Hargrave, Cox, Graham, White, Edwards, 2 of the safeties, and Bradberry.

No

Sanders, Hargrave, White, Edwards, Epps, Bradberry, Lovato. Maybe Seumalo depending on his performance.

Can't answer the question yet. Need to give them min 1/3rd of the season to make that decision to see how they fit the scheme, culture of the team and system and if they are declining. Esp for guys that joined us for a 1 year deal this year like Bradberry, White, Taart etc.

Hargreaves, Epps, Scott, seumalo, graham, Edwards Lovato.

Like to resign Bradbury not sure eagles could afford him.

Like to re sign kelce not sure he won't retire.🤷‍♂️

epps , bradberry , edwards and white unless dean takes over midseason at 1 spot, hargrave

Not sure about Sanders but I'm with you on the rest. Just Hope Howie can find the $'s

Depenting on his performance this year I;d also llook to keep BG around.

Kelce gets 1 year deals until he retires, which ideally will be after 2022.  It’s time.

Small 3 year deal for whomever has the better season at LB…White or Edwards.

Epps.  He’s going to be a backup safety and spot starter for years here.

Lovato.  Keep a LS when you find one.

Scott.  1 year for continuity.

Seumalo if he plays well.  If he isn’t great at RG and wants millions, then he can walk.

Opeta.  Need some backup continuity.

Id let the rest walk.

No one they didn't play yet

Quez

TJ Edwards

Epps

Lane

I don't know the rules of NFL contracts but I feel like they wouldn't be able to extend Bradberry until after the season since they just signed him to a deal this offseason.

That's how you get the good deals.  They extended Mailata before last season.

Didn't we do that w Jeffery? He signed a 1 yr then we extended him in season iirc

Also how we have been stuck with bad contracts. It's a tricky game they play signing guys early

I thought they gave Barnett a 2 year deal? Is it a team option for the 2nd year? Hargrave, Edwards, Bradberry

I thought an extension would've already been done with Hargrave to get the cap hit down

Are you gonna ask this question every month?

Sure - as circumstances and performances change, it's an ever changing and also relevant topic.

Does NOTW stand for No Opiion This Week?

I would sign Jalen Hurts to a 20 year extension at $50 million per year.  Can't let a generational talent like that get away.

As a general rule, I'm not ever giving a RB significant money on a second contract. Just replenish that position through the draft.

Just saved me a whole lot of typing …

Hopefully Bradberry is good enough to get a 3-year extension. I hate CB hell and it seems like we're finally out of it.

  • C Kelce (if he wants)
  • Opeta
  • DT Hargrave
  • DE Graham and Barnett
  • LB White and Edwards
  • S Epps
  • CB Bradberry
  • LS Lovato

Not Hurts. Ever.

Understood, but didn't they extend Mailata, Goedert, and Maddox earlier than that?

I think we need to re-sign Epps. Whether he grabs the starting spot by the horns this year or is just another ”for now” filler guy, keeping some experienced depth at the position will be important; particularly if we bring in some young guys again next year
