QB Factory?

More like QB dummies . . .

Don't be so sure.  Very very small risk with Strong to begin with, so it's no big deal.  As for Hurts, we know his downside.  We get it.  But to me it looks like the team is giving the keys to Hurts while he's on a rookie 2nd round pick contract.  I wouldn't think for a minute that the team wouldn't swap him out for another young QB if the Eagles could get a few more years of rookie QB scale.  That may have been the secret sauce in 2017 more than we realize.

Invoking Tom Brady is you intentionally taking the argument to a ridiculous place to deflect. Nick Foles beat him, but he did so throwing the ball. If reading a defense was his only issue we could sit here and only talk about that, but he can't throw or progress through his targets and decides to run instead. Speaking of Wentz he almost won MVP his second year instead of needing multiple rookie years of excuses. Someone doesn't have to be Brady to win, but they need to be able to throw the ball in the playoffs when defenses take away the ability to run and Hurts isn't capable of that against good teams as we saw in Tampa.

If your goal is to have someone who can get them to the playoffs and never win...congrats you have your guy. Most of us want more.

Eli also beat Brady twice in the SB with a good defense and quite a bit of luck, so what's your point??  Hurts is in his second year starting, and is in the the same position as Wentz when he showed improvement.  You can't count Jalen's entire rookie season as he only played 3 1/2 games.

Well 32 teams passed on him 7 times, so not sure why we should believe he stands a strong chance to be "the guy".

If Hurts doesn't work out (i.e. doesn't show enough improvement in his passing game, recognition of defenses, etc.) such that we need to look elsewhere for a QB, likely a safe assumption that any QB we might pick early next April would have a much higher chance at being "the guy".

And he did so throwing the ball on a few key drives even if one got stuck on a helmet. Hurts has no chance of doing so. Stop with the 2nd rookie year BS.

I saw that Carson Strong was getting a workout with the Broncos.

I'd like to get some inside scoop on how he did.

Apparently not well enough to put him on the practice squad in Denver.  They did sign WR Vyncient Smith from that same workout.

Agreed. I saw the same in the broncos news.

I will give Carson a call and ask how it went.

You guys really are a lost cause 😂

Eagles should send Strong to the QB throwing consultants training facility. All expenses paid.

Keep him sharp. Teach him up. Get him ready.

I'm pretty sure Strong doesn't have a chance here and it may or may not have to do with his performance. To say more would be entering into tinfoil hat territory.
