Wow. 17 has us out of the playoffs. I can’t imagine us being out of the playoffs with this soft schedule and Hurts and/or Gannon not being a huge reason why.

I'd like to see Hurts win this year. He has a better supporting cast this year compared to last year.

The D needs to pull their weight this year. We need to stop opposing QBs.

If the D plays well enough, even Hurts should be able to win a couple games in the playoffs.

Can Hurts beat Dallas in week 6? That's the real test. And, it's not all on Hurts to win it. The D needs to step up.

Howie has assembled a team to win this year. Maybe next, but not if we extend Hurts and consume all the cap space.

We are built to win this year. So, get it done.

Last year, I'm not sure Hurts was the best QB on the roster. Hurts improved enough this off-season to show that he is the best QB on the roster. Is he where we want him to be? No, but he definitely is working on it and I think he's progressed far enough this off-season to be an average QB in this league with growth potential.

Bottom line is it Hurts doesn’t get it done this year I want him replaced too. I have no sacred cows. I just want the wins. I don’t care about Dallas. I care about winning in the playoffs. If ha can’t get it done there then we have a problem. There’s no excuses for Hurts or these coaches IMO.

Carson Strong didn't get picked up by another team yet, has he? He was certainly over-hyped going into camp, but I still feel like we haven't heard the last of him yet.

We see a QB that isn't winning crap vs legit QB when a defense takes his legs away (see Tampa). Screw Hurts as a QB and anyone defending him or making excuses.

You think Tom Brady players grow on trees? Carson Strong is the next Brady? That’s just dumb bud. Right now the Eagles have confidence in their quarterback despite how you all feel. Here’s a hint for you though. All young quarterbacks struggle with reading defenses. That’s why they take coverage sacks, throw interceptions, and make bad plays. The special level quarterback in the NFL is quite low. You guys are expecting a 22-23 year old to be Tom Brady? No one ever put those types of expectations on Wentz even after MVP (actually the guy in Tampa now won it) season.
