Howie won't lose face and trade Reagor for a 6th round pick.  The Ravens have expressed interest as they have a short passing attack that emphasizes run after catch.  Baltimore has a starting safety that has requested a trade after they added two more at his position.  The Ravens love draft picks and had 6 4th round picks last draft...i propose Reagor and a 4 for their safety.  Then Howie can spin it he traded Reagor for a starting safety.

Great.  Call up the Ravens and see if they'll take it.

You think Howie gives a crap about "losing face"?  He'll make the best trade available, and if it's not today, it could be next week.

In any case, as much as you think you know what the Ravens would take....you don't.

That's why it's a proposed trade.  Ravens would probably jump at Reagor and a 3.  Would they take a 4?  And Howie cares very much about saving face when it comes to draft picks.

He'll keep Reagor on the roster before he takes a 6 for him.

Your best option right now is Reagor for Mims. Both teams in a tough situation and have ties to each other. Could see a swap of players that have been a disappointment.

In the end I could see a player for player trade. Sadly though Reagor has done more the Mims which is not impressive to say the least.

No, keep the 4th, Reagor for the safety straight-up, if they insist on a pick, throw in a 6th, afterall, Reagor was a 1st.

Where a player was drafted has no bearing on his value.

You and I know that but not everyone knows it, there are some pretty stupid GMs, I mean, who in the world would draft Reagor #1?

I think this would be a good trade, I was high on Mims coming out.  Wasn't Mims the player that  took a look at the citizens of Philadelphia and said thanks but no thanks?

Concerning Mims' production, nobody has been productive on the Jets in recent years, they've never had a coach worth a damn.

That could lower his trade value

You’re right, teams will try to trade players before cuts come.

I Googled Baltimore Ravens Reagor rumors and multiple articles came up.  The Ravens were interested in Reagor when he was drafted and they called us about a Reagor Clark deal this past draft.  They never made an offer.  Neither did we.  Maybe we don't like Clark the person.  His contract is reasonable and he's available and would be a tremendous upgrade.  I'm surprised we never made an offer to Baltimore.  We'd have to add a pick to the trade and they are most valuable at draft time.  Teams don't enjoy trading picks then after their scouting departments have worked all year prepping for the draft.  Now it's much easier to trade a pick.  I hope Howie re opens that discussion with Baltimore.

Fixed it for you.

Reagor  for a box of Krispy Kreme’s

Reagor isn't going anywhere........I even doubt the "trade talk" was anything more than a mention or two.  And even if it did happen, obviously the "offer" was nothing howie would consider, so why would any offer be any better at this point?

Sirianni and Morehead have said Reagor had a good camp......nothing spectacular, but it's obvious they think he can contribute something.

This is the best receiving corps that the eagles have had for years......Reagor will get minimal chances to produce.....and I think Sirianni is looking for him to produce to earn more playing time or be counted on if anybody gets hurt.

If I was a GM I’d laugh and hang up the phone if Howie offered that deal.

Love the guys that come here with all the claims on what they know of Howie....and then start spewing all of the crap rumors without any facts to back anything up.
