When can you start signing to the PS? Tomorrow?

I’ll post updates here as they become available.

Until news starts to trickle out, who do you want to see added (and who are you hoping doesn’t stick around)?

I’d like to see the following added:

Cain, Allen, Anderson, Gowan, Goodrich, Togiai, and Wilson.

I don’t see a need to keep Sinnett, Leo, Huntley, or Tartt.

I do think we need a third QB, and I’m okay with Sudfeld over the two dead bodies we were dragging around in TC

12 pm tomorrow after waiver claims are processed

Carson Strong is the number one guy I'm looking for on the PS.

Because that's what the Hurts huggers are gonna cry about.

Yes, like QB I feel the same about RB … we’d be better off adding someone from another team’s cuts.

I imagine it is a safe assumption that if they were going to have any interest in adding Strong to the practice squad he would not have been one of the first to be released.

Cutting him first actually increases his chances of being kept as teams are busy cutting players and getting their 53 to make immediate claims on those early cuts.

I'd like to see Strong back and if he does come back it would explain his bizarre off season treatment as the eagles trying to hide him for the PS.

If he gets claimed by another team oh well, if not and the eagles don't bring him back guess they think he just sucks...🤷‍♂️

The "But Hurts" need somebody to believe in. They should bring Strong back for this reason ... and JJAW so he has an equally productive target to throw to.

You know there are probably only 3/4 "Hurts Huggers” on this board?

There are a number of us who believe it is worth seeing whether Hurts can take a step up this year in the absence of better options.

I would have loved for Strong to work out, at least to the level of making Minshew expendable. But the hype was ludicrous for a UDFA, when no UDFA QB has made any impact in their first couple of years ever.

Lots of interesting names out there. For sure we need a 3rd on the practice squad.

If this is how you define "Hurts Hugger" then I'm going to hold him like a new puppy.

The ship has sailed.  We ride or die with Hurts this year and despite the negativity here, there's a lot of optimism about him around the league.

Eagles "fans" who can't wait to see him struggle are the biggest hypocrites in sports.

I'm kind of a fan of having a low paid QB. Hurts can stay, but we can't sign him to some big extension.

We need Strong to make it to QB2 by end of this year and then take over as QB1 after Hurts leaves in free agency at the end of next year.

That's a great point.  Last year, Wentz chewed up $34 million in cap space to play for the Colts.  This year, Hurts and Minshew account for about $4.2 million combined.  That allows Howie to make deals for (then with) guys like AJ Brown and trade for guys like Gardner-Johnson knowing they'll have to give him a new contract.  That's how you build out a high-level team.

It would be far better (IMHO) to add a young, developmental prospect to the practice squad ... not one of those aging vets (minus Rosen, of course).  If Hurts shows significant improvement this year, he is likely to be the QB for the foreseeable future.  In that case, Minshew is likely to be gone after the 2022 season so we'll need to groom a backup.  If Hurts fails to improve, then we are likely going to draft his replacement (or attempt to swing a trade for a vet) .. .I don't see anyone on that list with long-term potential.

It’s not - but unfortunately since the Tampa Bay game this board has been dominated by those who condemn anyone who show any support or optimism in respect of Hurts and describe them as "Hurts Huggers”

Stop with the disillusions and the Care Bears sending good vibes to help him succeed bull. I hope he shows his true lack of QB1 potential vs any possibility of him coming back for another year because he beat up on bad teams and fooled people.

Can he get them to the playoffs? Sure, and people who love having an excuse to drink and watch another Tampa game will be thrilled.

Can he out pass the good QB in a playoff game when they take his legs away? No chance in hell.
