The monarchy is not perfect, only but a few in the UK will disagree with that.

So is ours, but the monarchy allows for checks and balances in place.  We also have parish councils, town councils, county councils/unitary authorities, devolved parliaments Scotland, Wales and NI,, assemblies for larger cities, regional Mayors and the Houses of Parliament and Lords.  Other than the Lords, each are accountable to us, the people.  And we will be altering how the Lords operates to make that accountable to the people too.

And your country voted for Joe Biden and Donald Trump, and almost voted for Hilary Clinton. One party thought John McCain was a serious presidential candidate and the other has AOC, who is as dumb as a box of rocks but everyone loves.

And strictly speaking, Boris Johnson is American. Only renounced his citizenship within the past few years.

Same as us.  You lot really know nothing about how other countries organise their political structures.  No wonder so many pseudo intellectual professors in your Ivy league universities think the UK is not working for 2 weeks after the Queen dies, has little to no understanding of the UKs involvement ending slavery (Slavery Abolition Act, (1833)) and only recently paying that debt off.  Same as the debt you lot wouldn't write off for WW2 that we finally paid off recently.  Etc

And why is that the likes of McConnell, Pelosi, Nadler, Schumer are gripping onto power well past the pension age - Nadler entertains me as basically he looks like he's constantly on the verge of dying every time he speaks or walks.  You cannot lecture other countries on their political structure; if it is so perfect, why do other countries not adopt the same structure?

Listening and was watching some of the procession and service from Scotland.  Prince Andrew being stripped is wearing a suit whereas Princess Ann and Prince Edward are in uniform.  He stood out.  What a shame.  Well, actually what an idiot.

Her Majesty got quite the send off today.  Since we don't have a monarchy, I do find it all a bit historically fascinating.  It's been awhile since I've seen pictures of Windsor Castle, and the country road leading up to it.  She had a tremendous turn out of people on all of her journeys starting with the farm tractors lining up all the way to the lady who was in the RAF and was the last person thru the line this morning.
