It should be a good game.......the eagles offense seems to play better with a good challenge, and the jags offense looks pretty good.  And I'm sure the Jags want to come in here and get a win for Pedersen.

But as I said before, the eagles were 3-5 at home last year and they have to make coming to the Linc a nightmare for opposing teams......And I think Sirianni is doing a good job at keeping them grounded.

Eagles 31  Jags 17

Heard these guys have a good coach. I think he even won a super bowl one time.

The defense is stout - likely among the better defenses in the league.

Right, we'll see how our OL and Jalen does with them.

Check out the points for and points against.  If you watch the Jaguars you will notice they are huge, like Dallas used to be in those years where they manhandled us.  Doug also wants this game with all his being.  We must play our best game to win, for two halves.  I hope Coach Nick has something major brewing in his motivational bag o' tricks.

I think the Eagles are the better team but I won't be surprised if Jacksonville wins

Cool

Doug won't be able to adjust if they have a good plan.

Not

have to disagree but it’ll be a tough matchup

Well, previous stats don't mean anything for any game......each game is unique with it's match ups and circumstances.

Both teams are flying high right now so the momentum factor is moot.  The jags have something to prove and desperately want to win for Pedersen.  The eagles are on a mission. Neither Pedersen nor Sirianni is going to let 3 games get into their heads.

Eagles Mission > Jags something to prove.

Eagles 31  Jags 17

I wonder if Wentz wanted the game with all his being. 🤔

Maybe not. He was smiling after his ass whipping.

I am just worried about our lack of 2nd half offense. I know in 2 games we had a nice lead and no fear of losing, but we need to keep on. The Detroit game could have bitten us due to letting off. I need to see a full game of not letting up to see how we can fare against teams who will keep it close and not be in a  score deficit early.

So this week is the real test?

Trap game.

It'll be tough but I'm not quite sure how they have a better team than us right now. They definitely don't.

3-0 vs 2-1 gonna have to sort of disagree with you there

How quickly will we say the Jags are weak if Jalen goes off for 400 yards and 4 total scores?

Well that's the thing right... I think the Jags look much improved but I don't think they are a really good team yet. They've made strides but this is a team that's been one of the worst in the NFL for years.

Most of the divisional teams in 2017 basically stunk and some of them we barley won that year. Right now just off the start the NFC East looks a lot better than they have in the past. Just trying to reiterate that this schedule could be better than we think.

Compare games vs common opponents then get back to us.

We can afford a loss especially AFC side plus we owe him for washing Wentz out of here.

For the love of god, stop creating new topics when there's already one on the first page.  Merged.

Happy for Dougie P.

I was wrong about how Wentz would come out yesterday but it would be shocking if the Jags don’t come out firing on all cylinders on Sunday. They are confident and playing great football.

This is probably tongue-in-cheek but highly doubtful that Doug was to blame here. We’ll never really know what happened and it’s still early for the Jags but Trevor seems to be responding well to him.

Rain and wind from hurricane Ian is likely to cut their practice week short.  Bad luck for them, but good for the Eagles.
