Of all the Eagles QB seasons that I appreciated, Wentz 2019 makes the list. Good job, ya weirdo.

I wouldn't go that far. Wentz played well down the stretch but he was far from an 11-5 QB that year.

Wentz was absolute dogshit for the full 4 quarters against Seattle in the regular season, and he was 1 of 4 when he left the playoff game, the idea that a dirty Clowney hit cost us a deep playoff run is mythmaking, we backed into the play offs because the NFC East was the biggest dumpster fire in football and composed the last 4 games of our schedule (after a one score loss at 2-9 Miami where we had the ball 4 times in the 4th quarter and managed 2 punts a field goal and a pick),  and we had 2 elite tight ends to bail out an offense that couldn't make a pass outside the hashes.

I don't like Wentz but in 2019 he carried a team free of NFL level WRs to 9-7 and only 9-7 because of some huge drops.

In 2018 he played well statistically. He was 5-6 because he made 3 or 4 terrible reads late in 3 very winnable games.

2018-2019 Wentz  might not have been great QB play or clutch QB play but it was far above good QB play.

Are we forgetting that him playing like garbage for stretches in 2019 is why they had to dig themselves out of a hole the last few games to begin with?

And 2018 was not good, and is the perfect example of why stats don’t tell the story. Those bad reads to lose games are the story of Wentz. It’s not a coincidence that when Foles came in that team turned things around and was an Alshon Jeffery drop away from beating the Saints in the playoffs.

Yup. He beat a bunch of bad divisional opponents after losing to Miami to in what was basically a home game with so many Eagles fans at that game. He dusted off the Giants and Skins after that. He was downright putrid against the Seahawks and the Patriots that year. Ironically when people were debating if Foles should just be the starter after 2018 many people mentioned how he basically beat bad teams down the stretch. Ironically those were the same bad teams a year later people were giving Wentz praise for.

He was godawful against the Seahawks, couldn't hit the broadside of a barn outside the hashes, absolutely refused to throw the ball away regardless of the situation and turned it over 4 times (2 fumble, 2 picks), and was bailed out of a 3rd lost fumble of the game by a ticky tack penalty on Seattle.

RB has not been a relative strength so far this season.  At some point they're going to have to deal with that

But he threw for 4000 yards with no 1000 yard receiver that year! Elite player! 🙄

Everybody is talking about this being a tough game for the eagles...some media morons are picking the Jags to win.......But this is going to be a really tough game for the Jags......

The eagles match up really well all over the field.  The Jags are good against the run, but haven't played a QB like Hurts this year, who is an x-factor in the run game.  

The Jags are playing a bit over their heads right now defensively, but they're gaining a lot of confidence.  But it'll be interesting to see how they match up with Brown, Smith, Watkins and Goedart.  The jags play the run well but I can't see the eagles offensive line being manhandled.

I know the Jags desperately want to win this game for Pedersen, but the eagles seem to be on a mission.....and Hurts seems to be the catalyst for keeping them grounded.

Total has dropped to 44/44.5 because of weather.  Spread is Eagles - 6.5.  I’m not touching either of those because the weather makes scoring so unpredictable.  
You might want to consider taking both quarterbacks under their passing yards totals:

Hurts under 245.5
Lawrence under 225.5
