Weird line. Opened -5.5, got up to -4 and now swung all the way to -6.5. I guess it's the Dak news....

Jordan Mailata, Jason Kelce, Landon Dickerson practicing for Eagles

The Eagles only had a walkthrough practice on Wednesday, so Thursday was the first real chance to see how their injured players are progressing ahead of Sunday night’s matchup with the Cowboys.

That group of injured players includes three starting offensive linemen who missed some or all of last Sunday’s win over the Cardinals and there was positive news across the board. Reporters at the open portion of practice noted left tackle Jordan Mailata, left guard Landon Dickerson, and center Jason Kelce were all on the field.

Mailata missed practice all of last week with a shoulder injury and was inactive against Arizona. Dickerson and Kelce both missed time during the game with ankle injuries, although Kelce only sat out three snaps before returning to action.

Given the way the Cowboys defensive front has been playing, the improving health of the offensive line is good news for the Eagles.

Yeah and the total dropped as well.

Could be the Dak news or some sharp money came in.  I'll dig into it tomorrow.

Yeah Rush’s ceiling is probably about one touchdown……Dak’s is like 4.

For real, if we can't beat Dallas with Rush at QB, we will be in no shape to take on the best teams in the league.

I love how all week the talk has been about Dallas’s defense as if we don’t also have a top 5 defense.

They are undefeated on the season with Rush starting at QB. So it isn't anything to brush off. I'd be less concerned if Dak was starting, because they have something working right now with Rush.

Team is healthy going into this game it seems.

Rush threw the ball 16 times last week. If that were Hurts the fans around here would have a conniption. The guy isn’t asked to do anything. If the Eagles jump out on this Dallas team and force Rush to beat them it’s not happening.

We all understand that. And the betting line supports that train of thought. But that just hasn't been how games have gone with Rush at QB. This is going to be a tough game. And a divisional one on top of that.

Here are defensive rankings so far.   Points  Yards  Yards per Play  Turnovers  Passer Rating Allowed

Buffalo  t-1  2  2   t-1   1

S F          t-1  1  1  t-13  3

Philly       7   4   5  t-1    2

Dallas     3   7   3   t-13  7

Tampa    6   6   4   t-5   8

Anyone claiming Dallas is the best D this year or playing at an all-time level is a clown.

They lead in pass rush pressure rate and nothing else. They don't lead in sacks, or knockdowns, or hurries.

Four of the five O-lines they have faced this year have been absolute trash.

Cincy was trash for the first 2 weeks until they started to get used to each other (first couple weeks is preseasons now)

Tampa was missing a bunch of players including Smith going down early at LT.

The Rams had an injury or two and are F DEM PICKS bad at O-line. They don't have a single outstanding lineman now.

We saw DC's line up close.

The Giants are fine, but probably not top 10.

Home game. Revenge game. Game the Eagles can go all out before the bye week. The crowd will be electric. I don’t want to seem like I’m overlooking the Cowboys, but the Eagles should win by at least a touchdown IMO.
