Accurate, timing passer allows RAC opportunities. Fantastic fit with WRs like AJ Brown and Smith who can both be dynamic with the ball in their hands.

I don't think he'll go first round, he's nowhere on the scouting boards even now despite breaking Dak's college records at Mississippi State last year, his first year as starter, and putting out the same level of performance this year.

I think he's one of those that get labelled as a system guy, whereas I see him as a guy putting up numbers consistently in the toughest conference there is.

You're another one talking crazy!  Don't you know Hurts hasn't had really good pass performances since weeks 2 and 3?  Clearly he could never be the QB of the future ...

 

... even though he has the 13th most passing yards (1799) among starting QBs (while ranking only 21st in passing attempts), is 2nd in yards/attempt (8.5 ypa), is 7th in completion % (67%), and 5th in passer rating (105.1).

If he's available beyond day 3, he's worth a pick even if only to try and flip for picks in a couple of years.

Yeah, sorry, I was torn between putting day 2 and Round 3 and ended up picking the wrong bit of both.

bringing it back. How the mighty have fallen. This guy is not even spoken about in this year's draft. Maybe a UDFA?
