If, actually when, we break 109k all time high, let’s say the next short term top is like 135-140k, it will have a massive correction that will drop it into the 80’s. If that top ends up being the bull run top (which I doubt), then you will have that price available for a while. If 135-140k isn’t the top for this cycle, it won’t stay in the 80’s for long before breaking 135-140k all time high again. Timing the market is nearly impossible. You can be close, but it’s rare that you will be exact. Time in the market beats timing the market. The other thing that consider… Let’s say you are waiting for 88k. If it gets to say 92k, and that is the bottom, you won’t realize it is the bottom until it’s at like 94-95k and rising. So now you are even further behind trying to time it perfectly. The difference in that 4-5k isn’t that much if you are a long term holder. If you buy in at 88k or 92k, does it really make a difference in the grand scheme of things when it’s at 250k?

But for long term holding, Ill be very happy to have it at the 85k entry. When there is no more bitcoin left to mine, and an extremely small part of the population owns any of it, my kids will have over 2 million satoshis.

I expected 70s at some point in this cycle. But I also dont want to miss out if Im wrong. Ive been dollar cost averaging really small amounts weekly for myself. But this buy is for my kids. Once it went to and above 100k, I just thought if I could get them an even 0.01 to hold forever and see what happens it would be a good thing. Then it dropped under 100k a bunch of times, and I got greedy and thought I could get it lower. So, thats where Im at now.
