May 22, 2025May 22 Story time.I came in here one day and said I was putting 1000 each in to bitcoin for my kids. My initial goal was to just get it when it went back down to 100k so I could get a nice round number of shares/satoshis for them. But I thought I had a decent enough understanding of the cycles so I decided to get a little greedy and wait for a lower level. It went down to 100. It went down below 100, and it was meeting resistance for a while around 90-91. I said I expected it to potentially go down to 75, but I was nervous to try to time the bottom perfectly in case it never got that low so I was going to get in at 85. I set a limit order and it triggered at 85.It did eventually go down to 75 briefly, and the dufuses in here were making fun of me for buying at 85 when I figured it would go down to 75.These dufuses laugh at you for being conservative and realistic about your ability to time the market. There could have been a chance I was wrong about 75 and it could have bounced off 85 and never visited those levels again. Then, Id miss out. I was comfortable with 85 as an entry.Now that its ready to break through 110 soon, Im quite happy and they just look even sillier.Dont worry about what they think.I heard something recently that went something like this- A body builder will never laugh at you for beginning to go to the gym. A millionaire will never laugh at you for starting a business. The only people who laugh at you are the ones who want you to stay average with them.
