4th. I updated the post

Ok ok. Take the Veteran player and upgrade that position with some very good depth.

Good trade

A 4th is basically a gesture. I am happy with that. Quinn is a fine player

Bears picking up the tab too!

Love it.

hell yes

One sack in seven games. Maybe a change of scenery will change that.

Double team will do that to a guy.

Fing Howie baby

Exactly. Explain that to Cox

Can't double every player. I like the move. He's  going to be a pretty good rotational piece.

It's an upgrade for us.  Period.  Even if he's not what he once was, he's still a great addition to the rotation.

Our d line will feast! Can't double everyone!

That makes sense. Don't really watch the Bears. Don't know how good their DLine is. If he was the only threat that's usually  what happens. Can't do that here.

Which will make an already formidable secondary even better

For a 4th round pick. I love it.

I like the move but RIP our cap if we're planning on keeping him past this year. More dead money!

Doesn't affect it much if any. Unless we decide to keep him after this season.

Yeah, I edited that in after the fact. Didn't realize his cap hit was so low this year. We need to sign a lot of players so this muddies the waters a bit.

Great trade.  Further evidence of the enormous value of having the QB on a rookie deal.  Not paying your rising star quarterback $40 million a year (yet) creates all kinds of possibilities like this.
