October 31, 20222 yr I like the fact that yesterdays game was kind of a 'relaxing' one for the fans. No 4th quarter drama or sitting on the edge of your seat crap.
October 31, 20222 yr Opponents FO assistant: "Howie Roseman is on the phone and wants to know if.... Opponents GM: "Quick, hang that damn phone up!"

Every time I hear a critic Hurts just answers the bell this year. "Hurts can’t close out a team.” Hold my beer. "All he can do is run.” Hold my beer. "He only throws to one side of the field.” Hold my beer. "He can’t beat good teams.” Hold my beer. He can’t throw deep.” Hold my beer. Hope he continues to shut up the doubters.

His release is at about the 48 yard line and AJ catches it 2 yards deep in the end zone. Pretty damn impressive, considering the coverage on that play.
November 1, 20222 yr The most impressive thing about Hurts has been the transformation...even as recently as the Detroit game, he looked like a deer in the headlights at times...by game three, or so, he had transformed into a QB that has command of the offense...and every game he shows us more and more of what he is capable of...he is doing everything you want a QB to do...

Yeah I was just referring to the ball placement of those other two passes. That was elite level placement inside of tight coverage, but you’re right Brown had to basically speed up to catch that pass. It was 50 yards in the air something many of his doubters said he couldn’t possibly do.
