It's funny that they somehow fused everything into one person: Gay socialist illegal immigrant who would have been put away if not for Democrats being soft on crime.

They really are the dumbest cult on the planet.

Is there a full report out there?  Just curious to see it all, that way all of these crazy theories can(should) be done with.

Hoping to blame Republicans?

His social media sure does look like a MAGA. He worked as a security guard and lived in a Garage. His wanting to kidnap the Speaker of the House is no democratic move.

Charges

So far he's been charged with Assault with a deadly weapon and attempted kidnapping. You can be sure that Burglary and attempted murder will be added expediously.

Social Media.

On Facebook, DePape apparently posted that the trial of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, found guilty of killing George Floyd, was a "modern-day lynching,” according to CNN.

He also posted transphobic images, linked to websites claiming COVID-19 vaccines were deadly and posted links to YouTube videos with titles like "Democrat FARCE Commission to Investigate January 6th Capitol Riot COLLAPSES in Congress!!!” and "Global Elites Plan To Take Control Of YOUR Money! (Revealed)," according to CNN.

Don't forget the part where he lives in school bus in Berkeley with a BLM banner and a gay pride flag planted out front.

🤣

Wow. Pelosi’s husband is gay.  Who knew?

Yeah, he’s a MAGA follower so he’s like Benedict Arnold

;)

He's a MAGA follower because he's a deluded nutjob unable to discern fact from fiction.

Like some idiot drunk driver who thinks it makes him a tough guy.

Pathetic.

No. In fact I'm heading out in your honor blockquote widgetblockquote widget

It seems to me that he was a typical EDP who did EDP things, and both sides are trying to point fingers. Obviously, the gay ish is stupid and not at all the case. Also, I'm not sure that this guy is a died in the wool Trumper, he just latched on to the QAnon idiocy.

Good question hunt. Since they refuse to seek help I guess we'll never know.

He's a lunatic obviously, but he was radicalized by the right wing media machine, which at this point includes Q and all the other whackjob conspiracy outlets.  Not at all surprisingly, the exact people that scrambled all day yesterday to make up lie after lie about Paul Pelosi are the same one's that radicalized this guy.

Because I'm an idiot, I've had the misfortune of running into a lot of EDP at previous jobs.

They'd be radicalized by a trash can. If he didn't latch on to QAnon stuff, he'd have latched onto something else.

People are thinking this is a John Wilkes Booth (organized crazy), when this is in fact a John Hinckley (disorganized crazy).

But a trash can didn’t radicalize him, nor did a foreign terrorist organization. He latched onto conspiracy theories pushed by our own elected officials. No amount of gloss will change that.

I don't think anyone's suggesting that this was some sort of organized operation.  Just that this crazy person was radicalized by people who have shown reckless disregard for who they're infecting with their lies and what those (often unstable) people might do once radicalized.  And then, as the cherry on top, the same people organized a campaign to attack the victim of the crime the guy committed based on their lies.  Honestly, their campaign against the victim is the most disgusting part of it all because it shows that there is no bottom for these scumbags.
