With due respect, you don't live here. You haven't received the mailers, nor witnessed the manner in which these M4L d-bags have interacted at the school board and in the public.

I'm enjoying every minute of this.

I don't doubt that I'll have issues with some of what the Democrats on the school board will advocate for. But I also feel confident that where we differ will be within a range of normal political disagreement, and that the debates will have a more civil tone.

You can act all cynical like that doesn't matter, and maybe at the federal level where politicians are warm bodies 100s or 1000s of miles away maybe that's true, but for the health of a community where we're literally all neighbors shopping at the same grocery stores and eating at the same restaurants it absolutely does.

Nah cant agree with that

  • 2 weeks later...

I'll give Fitzpatrick's office credit. He still has great people working for him. When I have an issue they always follow up right away.

I'm trying to get the census people off our back. Not sure if this has ever happened to anyone else. I always do the census every 10 years. No problem. Last year they sent us a letter asking us to do it in an off year. So I did. Then they came by our house a month after that and wanted me to answer the same questions. I told them I didn't have time to answer all those questions again (this takes about an hour each time). They came back 3 more times until I finally capitulated and did the survey again. This year same thing. I got the letter and filled it out online. They came to the house 4 weeks later. I refused. She's come back twice. I told her this is entering into harassment territory.

Apparently after googling this is a real thing. Certain people get chose to be part of a specific study where they need to fill out the same hour long survey every month for four months, every year for four years. I want out! Suddenly Bollywood Trump's idea of firing 1/3 of all federal employees is starting to sound more appealing.

yeah in a way, you're right.

although, i don't see dems making up BS election fraud claims every time they lose an election. that's a monopoly the GOP owns and ironically enough, gets caught doing so themselves over and over.

Nah theyve been playing that game for decades, but as with most things, the gop is more effective

Thats what suppression, racism, jim crowe dog whistles have always been about.

now i also think we are seeing a significant portion of the gop reject this nonsense, which is why they are losing almost everything they touch.

if the party at large believed it, the results would be different. But thats how the silent majority operates, quietly going about their business. But the nonsense sells and it suits the dems to highlight it and overblow it anywhere they can

again, unlike the GOP claims, those aren't fairytales.

The Dems have been doing it for awhile. You have the "the Supreme Court gave it to Bush, Gore really won” and then there was the "Trump was only elected because of Russia”.

Neither were true. Trump sucks, but people act like he’s on Putin’s payroll. He’s not. He’s just a moron.

no, gore requested a recount based off of stupid crap and he let it go once that court ruled on it.

the trump campaign was absolutely involved with russia, just because it didn't get tied back to trump himself, doesn't change the fact that it happened.

so again, no. nothing the dems have done, come within a galaxy of the sheet the gop has pulled.
