Boston Scott should only play against the Giants.

There must be something lacking with the play design and route concepts as the 3rd & 4th wrs rarely get targeted.  Are they never open or does Hurts not see them looking for Brown on every drop back?  Also the rbs.  What happened to passing to rbs?  We need to look at the passing game plan and play selection.  Something is majorly lacking as to the inability to get others involved

Scott's time is coming. He's only good vs the Giants

Beat me to it

The stars are a bit hard this week. Hurts didn’t play bad but he wasn’t great either. I’d add Edwards to the stars, he was balling today. Made a lot of nice tackles/plays. Playcalling was definitely questionable and a scar.

I was talking about Josiah. But Boston also sucks.

Josiah is a horrible name

I thought the new guys did well considering they’ve been on the couch eating bon bons all season.

Both the Scotts can go.

WTF has been up with Mailata lately?

Sirianni has to start working in some play action/bootlegs instead of trying to run every time we're in 4th and short.

Anyone still think we didn't need an upgrade at TE behind Goedert?

Stars : Hurts , Quez, Edwards

Scars: Steichen, Siri, penalties

Honorable mention: Suh, Joseph, Epps, Graham

To me a Scar all year long has been our RBs on 3rd and short, all too often the RBs are not getting it done, they simply don't run with authority.

There were more than a couple of plays Ysterday where they ignored gaps and ploughed straight into the defense, it's like they have to run the play as designed and can't improvise at all, even if that means turning away from empty grass to run smack into Dickerson's ass.

Stoll and Calcaterra aren't Dallas Goedert. Anyone surprised?

I gotta give credit to Joseph and Suh for making a difference right away. Defense played fairly well; they contained Taylor enough he didn't run all over them. Defense kept the game close while the offense sputtered for 3 quarters. Hurts carried the offense in the 4th quarter.

Right, vision is a major issues also as is the ability to maintain balance after contact, Sanders is about one stumbling bumbling back, dude can not maintain his balance once touched.

I know this site doesn't like to hear it but depending on who's available, the Eagles need to use a pick no later than the second round on a RB, I'm tired of seeing Hurts s the best back on the team.

I think Zach Charbonnet is the one player that would put the Eagles over the top, I'd use the second 1st on him.  If he's not there, in the 3rd I'd go with Rodriguez from Kentucky, Bijan Robinson will likely be gone before late in the 1st, if there's a choice between Charbonnet and Robinson, give me Charbonnet any day of the week.

I'd be amazed if Howie isn't considering calling someone like Eric Ebron, I always thought Stoll looked like a weak back up but others seemed to think he had a shot, he was awful Sunday.

Yeah. Not sure what the ultimate answer is here. Goedert will be back someday. But it's clear Stoll, Calcaterra, and Tyree Jackson won't cut it. Siri/Steichen called plays like Goedert was still in the lineup. They need to go back to the drawing board. The Eagles have plenty of targets at WR at RB; can they find more ways to use them?

I'd love to get Bijan. Rbs haven't been going rd 1 much lately so I think there's a chance they all slip. Would be cool w Charbonnet too.

Blake Corum from UM is one to watch too. If he has a big game Saturday that'd be huge. But I think at 5'8" he'd be available in the 3rd.

The problem I have with Bijan is he looks to avoid contact, we already have those types on the team and we surely don't need another, I want The Terminator!!

The only ting Bijan has over Charbonnet is speed, other than that Charbonnet is hands down better at all other aspects of running the ball.

I'll have to check your boy Corum out, I've never heard of him.

OK, just saw some Corum highlight, good runner but I didn't see what I'm looking for, namely, a physical runner, the Eagles need a physical runner or two.

Yea Corum has great vision and he's seen a lot of action in Harbaugh's offense. I don't see him as a bell cow back but more a complimentary piece and I think he'd add more than Gainwell or Scott.

I haven't studied the guys too much beyond YouTube so I'll defer to your assessment of Bijan. But Charbonnet was solid as a freshman for UM before transferring (UM never keeps it Cali recruits lol, I don't blame the kids)

Yeah, I'm the same way, I dodn't follow college football much, at he end of the year I'll see where those that do follow college football rank the players at respective positions and view their highlights and make my assessments on them.

I did however see about 3 UCLA games this year and Charbonnet is NFL ready that excells in all areas of the RB position, he'd immediately make the Eagles a serious contender to win it all......he's that good.
