The last time the Eagles beat the Packers in Philadelphia, Donovan McNabb hit Greg Lewis for two long touchdowns and ran for two more.  Green Bay has won 3 consecutive games here, going back 16 years.

This year's Packers team, 4-7 ATS,  is going nowhere fast, but Aaron Rodgers must always be considered.  I also have concerns about the Eagles  (5-5 ATS) TOP and their ability to put points on the board without a viable tight end. Then there's the inconsistent running attack.  Still, Sunday Night Football at home to end Thanksgiving weekend is a big spot, and the Eagles like the spotlight.  I just wonder if Green Bay hangs around and keeps it close or if the Eagles offense snaps out of it.  And 45.5 seems slightly high at first glance.

Line: Eagles -7
Total: 45.5
Moneyline: Eagles -275/Packers +220

Ok see this is one of those where I feel that's just giving money away. There's no way that I see us winning by 8 points given how we've been playing.

Pretty Sad. Has there ever been another  9-1 team or better   in the NFL that everyone had so little confidence in winning.

Green Bay are garbage, Rodgers doesn't even give an ish these days. He holds the coaches, and his teammates, in contempt. He'll probably drop acid before the game, while putting another interesting compound into the sideline Gatorade. Eagles to cover, and cover easily

Possibly the 10-1 Steelers from two years ago. They started 10-0, but very few ever believed they were as good as that record.

That team is a mess

Eagles by 15

I think that line is an overreaction to the Washington game. Should be higher and I think the Eagles will cover.

-7 is little confidence?

I'd rather be underdogs.

The Packers are all over the place, sure they can be good, but not consistently, we should put them away comfortably in our own house.

The overreaction to our loss to the Commanders is noticeable, every pundit pulling the Steelers out their ass like that was the same situation, then in the next breath getting a semi over the Cowboys beating the Vikings, I half expected NFL.COM to put them ahead of us in the Power Ranking this week. Their second half collapse against the Packers has been completely memory holed.

We'll alert Vegas and have them make the change!

I actually think the number's a little generous.  Feels like they shaded it a point to draw some Green Bay action.

Packers have nobody at WR that can challenge our corners, but Jones and Dillon are good enough to sustain drives if LaFleur commits to the run game. Other side of the ball is the question mark for me. They have solid corners like the colts had, so I fully expect some drives to stall, but they lack the star playmakers elsewhere to worry me too much. That being said, 7 pts might be tough to overcome if Rodgers makes just a few decent throws on 3rd down here and there to keep their offense on the field and ours on the sidelines.

These lines in favor of the Eagles are waaaayyyyy too high.

Packers cover with ease. That’s were my $$ is going.

We'll see. Greenbay is pretty bad against the run. Their defense is suspect. Could be a blow out if they quit and the Eagles have a game where they aren't shooting themselves in the foot.

But with Rodgers they have a chance. And whilst they aren't playing well and they are having a bad year you can just see them pulling one out. A bit like they did against Dallas.

Exactly.

I hope not, obviously. And I would love to be wrong.

They'll certainly pick on 33 :(

They even mentioned the "red hot" cowboys when discussing the Giants.   Guess the loss two games ago doesn't count.

After 2 lousy offensive games in a row, at home on national tv we will play better.  I gave the points hoping we will cover.

Yeah I'd probably take the Packers to cover, if I were a betting man.

Eagles will continue to not get any respect until they blow out a team convincingly.

I feel a lot better about this game now that David Carr has picked the Packers to win. Just surprised he didn't claim that Derek Carr would throw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs for the Pack.
