Gannon belongs in scars. But I guess that's a permanent.

Special teams is a major scar. Long returns on kickoffs are the norm. Hard to not see any improvement in that week after week. Actually may be getting worse. Happy for the win.

Scar: AJ Brown's butterfingers

Coverage teams deserve 2 scars.

Seems every week when the offense or defense gets momentum the special teams give up a huge play...👎

Where are the LBs filling gaps defending the run?  They are too far off the ball and out of position

Missed XP feels a little like special teams, and the defense giving up 33 points to that team as a whole is a scar.

Special teams is a problem, the only reason Covey is an improvement on Reagor is he doesn't flat out muff punts, but he never looks remotely like he's going to break off a big return either, meanwhile we couldn't stop returns all game.

I think Covey gets waived when Davis is fit so they can keep the DL rotation and move Scott to returning everything.

It was like watching that Detroit game all over again...at least for me it was...

Eagles rushing offense controlled the game, led by Hurts, Sanders and O-line. Up-and-down game for the defense. They forced a couple INTs and got a few sacks. Yet they couldn't get off the field at times and the Packers scored 33. Big fumble by AJ Brown set up a short-TD for the Packers. He hasn't been the same lately. Special teams, meh.

Oh come on! You mean to tell me Collinsworth gushing over an incomplete pass wasn’t commentary you found truly inspirational???

Every week Gannon and Covey are scars

They let a backup guy come in and throw a td on them making them look bad. Run defense still looked suspect. KR team is atrocious while our returns yield little to nothing. ST coach needs to be put on notice.

Agreed. Its cringeworthy watching the offense be so dominant and then that group comes in and craps the bed.....its sickening to watch....

Is it sickening to watch, though? We won a shootout, we've relied on efense to win games this season... I call that heartening, not sickening

If you are referring to my comment.....I meant that the special teams and Gannon's scheme was what was sickening to watch because its every single week.....not the entire game or the team as a whole....

Fair enough 🙂

Reading threads on here, you wouldn't have any idea that the Birds won, nor that they're 10-1.

Scars - run d and Gannon (as always)

A few things pissed me off during the game. Those were AJ’s bad play (yes, I know he was recovering from being sick so I don’t blame him) and Gannon consistently having his CBs playing 7-10 yards off the LOS and dialing up no blitzes until late in the game.

But nothing pissed me off more than the absolute embarrassing play of our special teams. They look totally lost out there. It really means something when the opposing team is willing to take a kick 7 yards deep in the end zone.
