Can anyone name a starting OL for the Titans without looking them up?

PFF grades

  • 54.7
  • 55.3
  • 69.9
  • 51.3
  • 40.7
  •  sub in a 73.0 if the concussed guy comes back

Titans wins:

  • Texans
  • Colts x2
  • Bad Commanders (Wentz)
  • Vegas
  • Broncos
  • Packers

They are not the steamroller run game boogeyman of the past.

Same could be said about our schedule. You play who's on your schedule...

Catch an L against some AFC team and keep it moving. No worries.

Nah man Im way more comfortable two games in front of Dallas

Derrick Henry is due to break out

just saying

need to force to’s outta tannehill or they’ll be content to control game clock ¾

This is the game for Gannon to sell out to stop the run and trust his secondary to get it done. We shouldn't be scared of Tannehill and we should trust this secondary to get it done.

The line is down an entire point to 4.5, while the total remains at 44.5.   I'll look at the movement tomorrow, but it appears the action is all on the Titans.

Take that for what it's worth.

I welcome a tough game. In fact i welcome a whole bunch of tougher games to end the season. Id rather we find out now if this team is for real or not.

They're 10-1 with quality wins against the Cowboys, Vikings and Lions.  They're for real.  But I take your point.

Still, they're likely to lose 2 or 3 more games and this feels like it could be one of them.

The Titans 2022 Strength of Victory is .352  Only the Chargers, Raiders, and Cardinals have a lower SoV.

The Eagles are 11th at .432

Dallas is currently 1st at .502 mostly because they played NYG 2x  and have not played the Texans and Colts yet to pull down that %

Also your SoV does not dip down when you can't beat the Packers.

Another way to say this is that the best win on the Titans 2022 schedule so far was probably the 3-2-1 Colts

Titans 2022 Wins:

  • 0-2 Raiders
  • 1-1-1 Colts
  • 1-3 Wentz Commandos
  • 3-2-1 Colts
  • 1-4-1 Texans
  • 3-5 Broncos
  • 4-6 Packers

Eagles 2022 Wins:

  • 0-0 Lions
  • 1-0 Vikings
  • 1-1 Wentz Commandos
  • 2-1 Jags
  • 2-2 Cardinals
  • 4-1 Cowboys  (4-0 with Rush)
  • 2-5 Steelers
  • 1-5-1 Texans
  • 4-5-1 Colts
  • 4-7 Packers

The Titans have not beaten who is on their schedule. All 4 decent to good teams on their schedule beat them.

The best QB the Titans have beaten is psychedelics bad-thumb Rodgers.

The best running game they have beaten was the 13th ranked Raiders. (Titans are 12th  (ypg rankings))

The stupid money is on the Titans.

Sell out and stop the run. I'm not afraid of Tannehill :flex:

If one of our bear sized humans is playing DE to get 3 DTs on the field at the same time I will not complain.

I'll also take a BB style stop Westbrook 5-man line if they want to go that way.

FWIW Henry is averaging about 2.8 yards per carry the last 3 weeks and the ypc defenses he faced were ranked 20th, 29th, and 12th in ypc allowed.

The problem for this defense I think will be getting off the field. We know that the Titans are going to run it down our throats. If they average 3 YPC but we can't get them off the field on 3rd down (like against WAS) then that's a real problem.

Yeah, the DC game was about turnovers and 3rd downs, not about them running on the Eagles.

Give up a string of 3rd downs and you give up points. Let a team run for 19 on first down then 3 on the next first down and force a punt and you are giving up 11 per carry and no points.
