June 14, 20205 yr Most of you weren't born yet, but in 1973, the Eagles hired Mike McCormack and traded for Roman Gabriel. The team's first win that season, at St. Louis against the Cards, was the most amazing walk off win I've ever seen on offense of the Eagles. No time left on the clock, in a come from behind win, Gabriel hits Don Zimmerman who is hit at the goal line, but twists and turns his body to cross the plane with no time left on the clock. No video of that game, but here's a video of the 1973 Eagles. Check it out at the 7:47 mark: FWIW, some great footage of a young Harold Carmichael in his prime, not to mention velvet voiced John Facenda narrating the video.

This list is my top 3 favorite offensive, defensive and special teams walk off touchdown that helped ice a game. Not all of these happened to officially end a game, but they were all memorable to me when it came to helping the Eagles put an end to the game. What are your favorite walk off touchdown to end a game? EDIT: 2 of the 3 examples were not necessarily walk off touchdowns, but they helped the team take the lead late in the game and helped put the game on ice. I mean it was nice work but, both miracles in the meadowlands trump the special teams and defensive t.d.s that you chose. IMHO
