What did you think when we traded for Robert Quinn? Someone who will come right in and be a great addition to the pass rush or make a few plays here and there on 3rd down and that's about it?  This guy is starting to remind me of Ryan Kerrigan. Only got him for his past success and also because his name is "Robert Quinn". Obviously it's been a disappointment since we traded for him. Missing Sunday's game with an injury isn't helping him either. I liked the trade for him. Get another veteran pass rusher with another veteran voice in the locker room but this guy has been a major failure. I wasn't expecting his double digit sack performance but a few plays here and there would be encouraging at the vey least.

I had hoped for added pass rush. Maybe a few sacks here and there. Right now, I forget he's even on the team.

Expectation now ... based on what I've seen so far??

Bears fleeced us. Oh well, at least were not the Broncos.

I maybe irrationally still am hopeful that he will end up making a late season impact. Older guy getting double teamed all the time in Chicago and came over here and didn't have a bye week at all and played immediately.  I think him missing this game is good to give him some rest.  I think that's what he needs.

I think he ends up getting 3 sacks with the Eagles before the end of the season.

he would alternate great seasons with duds so i have no idea

signs of life would be nice

didnt he get 18 last year, and all of the sudden he sucks, just getting paid maybe, cut his lardssa

18.5 to be exact

Hard to believe one can go from 18.5 one year to nothing the next.  I wonder if he wanted to stay in Chicago and is dogging it because he doesn’t want to be here.  Seems he was well liked there and had good relationships with quite a few.

There's 6 games and the playoffs for him to start producing.....He's not getting a lot of snaps and maybe that changes as the year plays on.....Something tells me he's going to have surprise game and become a real danger in the playoffs.....or maybe it's just wishful thinking.

He was brought in for depth, not to take over as a starter. All he can do is what this team asks him to do. I have a feeling he'll be needed in the postseason.

Still better than Barnett

I don't think so. He got on quite well with Roquan Smith who since moved on himself. Judging from the player greetings when he first arrived coupled with his first interview he seemed grateful to be here. He was accruing poor stats with the Bears this year and has seemingly carried it over. As a few others have said, have to hope there's something in the tank for end of reg season and playoffs.

Yeah I don't get the feeling it's that he doesn't want to be here. Quinn was really poor at the start of this season for Chicago. Hence the relatively low cost. I think Howie was gambling on the fact that teams were double teaming him a lot at the Bears and he might rediscover his form on a better team. So far he looks like he's done. Still holding out a little hope he can help down the stretch, but it looks increasingly unlikely.

A failed gamble, but probably still a gamble worth taking for a 4th.

How many dope penalties does quinn have per game?

Post Season Hero. Calling it now.

Hopefully he will produce when really needed.

I was just hoping for a solid rotational piece. Maybe 4-5 sacks down the stretch. At this point it’s looking like a lost trade but oh well.

veteran pass rush rotation

Depth.

Like, deep deep deep depth.

He did recover the fumble in the SB, so gotta give him a free pass on a majority of those.

Him not having a bye is not talked about enough.

I don't think he is dogging it at all. His family is there, his heart as well. I too think he is homesick and the shock of not being in Chicago still affects him.

Regardless of that. This has turned out to be a very bad trade thus far.

Did a lot of things today that didn’t show up on the stat sheet

No. No I don’t.
