Huberts is out of chicago apparently. Not familiar with them

One of my distros carries the Hubbard's Cave and their sister brewery Une Annee'.  Hubbard's Cave makes Stouts and IPAs while Una Annee' makes Sours/Wild Ales (more traditional, not kettle).  Weird is that both of them sell their expensive beers in 2pks, so a case of 12 2pks.  I brought in 4 of the Wild Ales and mixed up the 2pks to include 2 different flavours in each for $9.99.  The beers are good, just as I previously mentioned they are more like fruited Belgian Sours than the new wave of fruited kettle Sours, so more tart and funky.  The distro just started listing some of the Hubbard's Cave Stouts the past 2-3 weeks, but in relation to their price and that I still have a good amount of Stouts in stock, I haven't brought any in.

I've had some Una Annee' sours.  They're good.  Hubbard's Cave makes some good stouts.  I feel like they're a little over priced in the sour dept but I love sours and will splurge for them.

Anyone like Founders? I haven't had a beer from them I don't really like. I think this brew was the one that got me started with them. Always a treat. Great mix of malt, chocolate, a little coffee, and something like molasses/brown sugar. Aptly named, because this thing is a meal in a glass.

That Cacao PM Dawn does sound good to me, I may have to do it. I've never had Trillium. Lived in Boston for four years but left in 2010

PM Dawn is the beer i miss the most from Boston

Haze from Treehouse is second place

Here's something a little different:  Barleywine.  I enjoy a well done Barleywine and Old Ale now and then and this one hits the mark.  Timber Ales is just doing really good beers since they came onto the scene.  They usually do Stouts and IPAs and I think have done one fruited Sour.  Their Stouts have been really good, though the IPAs are quite good, too.

This is a collab with Horus Aged Ales and Mindful Ales (never heard of the latter).  A Barleywine with vanilla bean added to it.  It's rather heavenly if you like a beer with a touch of sticky sweetness, layers of rich flavours (toffee, chocolate, dark fruits, caramel) and a nice vanilla finish.  And it clocks in at 12% ABV.

At The Seed in AC.  Just met one of the owners/ brewers, Amanda.  Really nice.  Very good beers.  English, Belgians and IPAs.  Worth checking out.

Free beer is good

The thing about The Seed is they are the first and only craft brewery in AC.  And they're right next door to Little Water Distillery and an axe throwing place.  All 3 in the same parking lot and block.  Pretty cool.  We had a 20 minute wait for The Seed so went to Little Water and had cocktails until it was time to settle in at The Seed.  Very nice assortment of beers and they are already collabing with other breweries (Timber Ales, Brix City, Mindful Ales, etc.) and will be at the AC Beerfest in early June.

The Seed looks like they have some good beers.  It looks like they are going the somewhat-pretentious route that Tired Hands blazed.  But that doesn't matter if they make good beer.

Beer has no taste IMHO. Wished I could convince some members of my family. Just saying!

I feel like if it’s fresh, it’s really good. But since they’ve gotten so popular, stuff ends up on the shelves that doesn’t drink good at all.

Just placed a $350 order at Treehouse - going to pick it up later today :drool:
