His question was answered either way. 🤣

Had to settle for some Sam's ipas last night my local market was closed. They're not terrible but I really need some arrogant bastids in my life, I'm truly addicted to them now.

Love Tired Hands.

Other Half is leading a collab release called All Together to benefit hospitality workers. Going to try and get some via 450

Might be getting 1 case of it from Bolero Snort Brewery.  Rep was in today delivering an order and told me about it.

I remember when we won our 1st ever super bowl.  Some back up qb led us down the stretch of the regular season, through the playoffs, and over the patriots.

i also remember losing to seattle (who was not playing well) in the playoffs because our back up qb was so limited.

i think the eagles fo remembered too and took action. They arent the browns or bengals   They are contenders almost every year   And know how important the qb position is in getting over the top

when you look back at eagles second round picks the last 15 years they have done pretty good   Djaq and shady  goedert and sanders to name a few.  So i get why people dont like selecting someone who will play regularly only if our franchise qb goes down. But i dont like paying car insurance either. It costs a-lot and hope you never need to use it   But if you do, it saves your arse

Sorry op wrong place for this

The All Together?  Not sure if I'm getting the one from Bolero Snort now, but am getting one tomorrow from 7 Mile Brewery here in South Jersey.  Those are the only 2 I have heard of so far around here.  And hoping Heady Topper and Focal Banger come this Tuesday.  Rep said it would be the first full week of May and next week is it.

Yeah that one. Kinda back a whisky groove this week

I did get the Bolero Snort All Together (proceeds go to service/hospitality workers), along with 7 Mile's as well.  Only 1cs of each, though.  Now Three 3's in Hammonton (they do make some really good IPAs) has one as well and I might get that one, too.

Got another pandemic themed beer, too.  This one is a collab between Short Throw, which is one of the 'breweries' using the distributor 12 Percent facility in CT along with a handful of others (though to be fair, most of the beers coming out of there are quite good), and Triple Crossing of VA who has some really good reviews on their beers.  The beer is called Mutual Respeck which is to acknowledge the respect we give each other to keep a safe distance during this crisis.  It's a hazy DIPA and I'm drinking one now and it's really good.  Goes down to easy and smooth for an 8%er.

So while there may be a hiccup in the supply chain of meats and other foods there is no shortage of beer or most other alcohol at this point.  Seems the breweries are good to go for pumping out craft beers.

Grabbed a 4 pack and of the all together brewed by our local brewery 608. My question is did other half just send a recipe or did they do a Skype combo with all these breweries.

Sounds like Other Half came up with 2 recipes (one East Coast style and the other West Coast style) each based on the same ingredients and breweries had the choice of which one to brew.

Been keeping fresh Hop, Drop, & Roll in my fridge during quarantine. Really great IPA by NoDa in Charlotte.

I quickly got sick of the hazy/New England IPAs and go back to West Coast/Doubles more often than not.

That's all I have to say about that.

Sounds like good weekend ahead!

I'm going to open a couple of cans of delicious IPAs tomorrow. Can't wait.

I don't wait for the weekend. Hell, this morning I had leftover bourbon in my coffee and took a first sip before 7am.

Lockdown started to bring that out of me so I've scaled that back and am limiting myself to weekends.

I admire your discipline, but I won't follow suit.

I doubt I'll stick to it. Too easy not to.

Nice thanks. Had it last night hoppy as hell and just delicious.

I've really been a fan of this lately. This is a great American Imperial Red Ale by Lagunitas that's been showing up around Central PA pretty affordably. Lots of character. Slightly piney/hoppy, mixed with a hint of creamy malt. Thick, frothy head that hangs to the glass and lasts through consumption. The 8.8% ABV is very well-hidden.
