October 23, 20214 yr Author Picked up some Westbrook mexican cake stout. Tasted a BA smore and a double chocolate vanilla variant
October 24, 20214 yr Enjoying this year's Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale. I don't drink many IPAs anymore but I like the fresh hop beers that come out around this time.

To answer my own question, it appears that Able Baker, Hop Nuts, and Banger are the best breweries in the Las Vegas area right now. Able Baker and Hop Nuts (and Nevada Brew Works, Ser Veh Zah, and a couple others) are in the Arts District, north of the Stratosphere.
November 13, 20213 yr Hope to be getting in some really good IPAs and Stouts next week. Abomination has been coming out with different variants of their Wandering Into The Fog. Coming soon are Belma (never heard of this hop before) and Ultra Galaxy. The ones I have now are African Queen and Triple Dry Hopped Nelson Sauvin. Only got 1cs of each so made variety 4pks out of them with 2 cans of each. Tried both and are excellent. Currently drinking a Foley Brothers Prospect and it's very good. Local brewery Slack Tide, who has been doing some good beers of late, has a Hazy IPA called Rising Hope that benefits children's cancer research that has passionfruit, orange, and guava and it's really nice. Others I'm looking forward to are Against The Grain's Bo & Luke Imperial Smoked Stout. I like smoke flavour, whether in food, Scotch (thank you, Islay), or beer (Rauch!) so intrigued by this one. Also, a collab by VA brewery Short Throw, who does some really good Stouts, and Narrow Gauge (hadn't heard of them before, but upon checking them out they are well rated) a Stout called Rooftop Money. And from Equilibrium, HDHC Triple Citra Daydream. Other Half also made one under the same name so it must have been one of those beers where different breweries make it based off a specific recipe. Both are rated over 4.5 on Untappd. On another note, it seems craft beer sales have really slowed the past couple months. Speaking with some sales reps we have come up with a theory that since the extra $300/week was taken away, yet people still aren't going back to work so are collecting regular unemployment and thus don't have disposable income any more that they are either trading down and buying 'regular' beer or buying liquor for more bang for the buck or to last longer. I don't know, maybe if you want to drink good stuff then get up off your ass and get back to work. Help keep those supply chains going. But hey, I'm just an idiot that's been working this whole time exposing myself to the general alcoholic public, many of whom aren't the most hygienic of persons so what do I know?
