My local brewery did that one too and doesn’t look nearly as hazy as yours but their all together certainly was a hazy hop bomb. Their social distancing was good but nothing too exciting. Honestly, I don't know much about the Social Distancing collab. Not even sure who is hosting it. I know there's more out there, but this is the first one I saw that I could get. Abomination has done some pretty good beers thus far that I've had so I grabbed this one. I asked for 2cs but only got 1cs so it must be pretty limited and allocated. I had 4 different All Together beers, all local with 3 being from South Jersey breweries and 1 from a North NJ brewery. And I only got 1cs of each one. I only had the Bolero Snort one (the NNJ brewery) and it was pretty good.
May 29, 20205 yr What does everyone think of Fourscore Brewing Company in Gettysburg? My brother lives in Gettysburg and we went the first week it was open. Their beers were very good even when they just opened. Usually when a brewery is making good stuff when it opens, they must know what they're doing. I've been to breweries and had to give them a year or two after opening to really start going to them, while they retooled recipes. Fourscore has an imperial Oreo cookie stout called Wookie Monster that apparently is pretty famous. I mentioned that I got a 4-pack of it to a friend in Wisconsin that I trade with, and he was excited that I actually had it in my hands. I was surprised that he knew about that beer. I'm sending one to him, and he is looking forward to that more than just about all the other beers I'm sending to him.

Haven't heard of them, but there are so many local craft breweries opening up in the past 2 years it's so hard to keep track. For instance, here in South Jersey we had Chimaney Rustic Ales open in Hammonton in December and they just canned their first beer this week. I got it at my store an hour off the canning line. An IPA called Realm 1. It's pretty good. I had a couple customers tell me they'd been to their brewery/tasting room and liked their beers so I brought them in. Got to meet the rep and the owner when they delivered and they gave me samples, including the Realm 1 and a 32oz crowler of a fruited pomegranate Berliner called Colourful Elements, which was OK (I'm a fruited Sour snob, so a beer needs to be REALLY good to move my needle). Any local brewery that has the opportunity to do cans is doing so right now. Though, Cape May Brewery, which is probably our best selling local brewery, has allowed for 1/6 keg sales to stores which they were only doing to bars/restaurants before. My rep told me that my store is his top keg account right now. So breweries are doing what they have to do so get through this.
May 29, 20205 yr I'll have to look into those beers. I'm not in New Jersey too much, so we will see how that goes.
May 29, 20205 yr Got this one in from Backward Flag. Roadside Donkey Blood Orange with Vanilla and it's damn good. I usually either love or hate Blood Orange flavour and this has a very tasty BOJ flavour to it. Totally sucking this down like flavoured water and wish I'd gotten a whole 4pk instead of just a single can. Very good stuff.

I went there early spring before the lockdown hit - I was already pretty well in the bag until I got there but I remember it was PACKED. I also remember they had a few super high BAC imperials - I tried the PB Cup - 16%! Oh and the Double Citra Pillows Triple IPA was really good. I was REALLY in the bag when I left

I know they are really big in the UK. When I went to London and Dublin in 2012 (just after the Olympics, they still had the Olympic rings hanging off Tower Bridge) most of the pubs I went to had at least a handful of Ciders on draft. We have enough good Cideries here in the US, including some local ones. Original XIII, aka Sir Charles, is right in Philly around the Olde City/Fishtown area. They do a bone dry one called Atacama that's really good. I prefer the dryer ones with less sugar, though some of the fruited flavoured ones are good so long as they don't add additional sugars to it. They do 2 fruited ones, a Blueberry which has no extra sugar added to it, and a Strawberry that does have sugar added to it. Ironbound in North NJ makes some good Ciders, too. They get apples from the NW part of the state and then their facility in along the east side in the Atlantic Highlands area. Another local one was done by the brewery Ship Bottom, called Linvilla Orchards, and that is a solid crushable Cider. I have a pretty good Cider selection at my store, most of them from around the US with a few imports. Cheers, man! Enjoy your libations and the warm weather.
June 3, 20205 yr Thank you for this. Made for a good treat after working in the yard most of the day Sunday. Was almost like drinking a lemon water ice with a soft kiss of passionfruit at the end. The lemon flavour was really spot on.

What’s some of the best Haze in Delaware? Anything in NJ or NY you’d be interested in. I get a lot of Other Half/Evil Twin/Hudson Valley/District 96/Kane etc

I'm at the other end of the state, however, and Dewey Beer Company only sells out of their brewery. Big Oyster has some good IPAs, though, and I can get cans at this end of the state. Do you see Big Oyster in your area?

Hopefully the distributor gets it back in the next couple weeks so I can restock and grab a 4pk of each for myself. Never had them back-to-back so would like to try that. Lately it's been a steady influx of new one-off IPAs. Will have a new one coming Thursday, another offering from Abomination, single hop varietals on their Wandering Into The Fog beer. It's actually be a mixed case of three 4pks each of Sabro and Vic Secret, both of which are racking up really good reviews/ratings on Untappd right now. I'll probably turn them into variety 4pks, 2 cans of each.

June 9, 20205 yr What are the best craft beer stores in the New York City area? Also, where in New York City can I return bottles and cans for deposit, without having to worry about where the beers were bought?
