Pretty good man, you? Thanks for asking though

Good. I wasn't being sarcastic, I am genuinely curious if your take has changed significantly since the game, or do you think the Eagles are still flimsy?

Is there any team left that really makes you think they can stop the Eagles? Any one left that gives you true worry? Is it the 49ers on their third quarterback? How bout dem Cowboys? The Bills and all of their hype? How about Reid, Mahomes, and the Chiefs? Also which team/story would you want to see in the Super Bowl? Tua vs Hurts? Reid s the Eagles? McDermott and the Bills vs the Eagles?

The 49ers are good, but I think being at home gives the Eagles an advantage.  The main obstacle to winning the Super Bowl is guys staying healthy.  I think they CAN do it, but will they?  I don't know...

The 49ers are good, but so are the Eagles and they’re the most complete team the 49ers have faced. The Eagles are capable of doing it all, and they have a great offensive and defensive line. Look I’m not telling you that the 49ers are a bad football team. I just believe the Eagles are a better one.

People can't accept we are one of those teams that actually scare everyone else in the league. We are a force dammit!!

If we get past the Niners I really like their chances against either team in the Super Bowl... Mahomes won't be 100 percent but should be feeling somewhat better by then and the Bengals oline is awful our dline might murder Burrow... I think we have a good shot against San Francisco with a rookie qb as well... I can't say I'm feeling confident but we have the most complete team left of the 4... GO BIRDS!

Toughest game of the season coming up.

49ers Defense is about as nasty as ours and their Offense has quite a few weapons. What a game this will be!!

Lets Go Birds!!!!!!!

I get it. It’s from many many years of disappointments. It embedded in us to expect the worst always. Nice things don’t happen to us even if they have been happening for year now.

I don't think that way, eagles have been one of the most successful franchises in the league for for almost 20 yrs now. People need to get over that other sheet already.

Do ppl still watch 52 and get nervous during the last Brady pass?

They have been successful for well over 20 years and many people still think this way. It’s bigger than just the Eagles too. The radio constantly goes on a remind us how we lost tour of Flyers, Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles. It’s been pumped in our brains that losing is almost certain.

Funny thing is I do care and I am not as effected. Ironically the years when I have just said I am going to enjoy the ride and not worry have been their best seasons. Although this year my expectations for Hurts went up and he delivered.

It's stuff like people scared to death of the cowboys is what gets under my skin. They haven't done sheet in 30 yrs get the hell over it already. They cry when we're good because they don't like the hype and then when the media picks everyone else over the eagles they cry we get no respect. Make up your damn minds already. Such a loser mentality, I want to face and beat the best teams possible.

Yeah there are already threads out about being scared of then schedule and being scared of the cap, and scared of pretty much all things 2023. Can we finish this season before we worry about the next one? 😂

Lol exactly! All everyone talks about is next year! Look where we are! Enjoy it or STFU. People always looking to bring other people down to their mopey negative BS.

At this point Howie deserves the benefit of doubt. No reason to worry considering how often he’s fixed his own mistakes and brought this team back from the brink of disaster. Things could be worse. We could be the Commanders or the Cowboys.

Yeah. One of the most crucial parts of that sequence was Patrick Robinson pulling that ball into the endzone trying to pick it off. Even though he didn't, it pulled the ball away from the one Pats receiver (who's name is slipping my mind right now) who could have had a shot to catch it on the deflection, and possibly dive into the endzone.

I generally don't care about the other sports, but I really did want the Phillies to win because I knew my mom was likely watching, and they were going to be her last chance to see a Philly championship. Sadly, I knew she was unlikely to make it to the NFL post season.

I think that was Philip Dorsett

But the crazier thing to me was how "controversial " they made the Clement and Ertz scores seem. Both clear TDs

I loved the Phillies run and I do casually follow the Phillies but, it doesn't bother me if they are good or not. I was sad Saturday night that my mom wasn't around to see that game. No one in my family likes sports at all except me and I got my mom into football and she really grew to love it like me.

She really loved Ertz and didn't follow along as much last year after he was traded. She said she didn't know who any of the other guys were and they weren't as cute lol.

Dorsett! Thanks. That's the one.

The Ertz TD I could see right away that he turned into a runner, so I felt confident in that one. The Clement one concerned me because of how he shifted the ball. I thought that one was getting called back, but so glad it didn't.

I could see the clement one but, the Ertz one was clear as day

I know what you mean. My mom and I texted a lot during games. I'd always get a bit of a chuckle when the Birds would turn the ball over, or the other team scored, and I'd hear my phone buzz, and I knew what it was. My mom just texting a single 4 letter word beginning with F. One of the things I'll miss going forward.
