This one opened at Eagles -8.5 but I'm seeing -9 pretty much everywhere this afternoon.  The total is a healthy 48.5.  Bears are coming to the end of a tough year and are 4-8-1 ATS while the Eagles moved to 8-5 with the cover yesterday and have covered 3 in a row.  The forecast is cold and cloudy but that's about it - no snow or fog this time. Justin Fields is dealing with a shoulder injury.  If the Eagles are the team they seem to be, they'll go into Soldier Field and take care of business and not get caught looking ahead to the showdown with Dallas on Christmas Eve.

Total: 48.5
Moneyline: Eagles -400/Bears +320

Lol Eagles drop 50 and put backups in by 3rd quarter

I would take the Eagles. I don’t think the Bears are scoring that much, and I don’t see them holding our offense down.

Only 2 teams have given up more pts than the Bears.  High potential for Eagles to easily score 40 or 50 pts. 

However, there is one mitigating factor. The weather.  Freezing temperatures and high, gusty winds.

Eagles can't possibly lose to this Bears team.

 

Fields will get his, and they might actually score some points here, but not as often as the Eagles will.   This Bears defense it not suited to stopping this kind of offense.

We should handle them. They are a pretty bad team and we should take care of business. But this could also be a trap game. Got to just get the job done.

This is the very definition of a trap game.  An easily overlooked opponent with a rising QB wedged between road games with division rivals. 

Justin Fields running is our only concern for this game 

Provided the team turns up, isn't getting high on their reviews and respects the opponent, they should have more than enough for Chicago.

Hopefully the smack in the mouth they got off Washington taught them the only lesson they need about complacency this year.

This game should be over by half time. I expect the Eagles Offense will put points on the board with every possession. I look for our back ups to play the 2nd half. 

On a bad day the Eagles will win 7/10 matchups at the LOS on the day.  The Bears have absolutely no shot and i say that as pretty devout any given sunday kinda guy.

This IS the proverbial "trap game”  considering it is sandwiched between two divisional opponents and the huge game looming with Dallas. With that being the case, I have a hard time believing this team will overlook any opponent especially after what happened with Washington. I hope they come  out and drop an early 35 on these guys and are resting by the start of the 4th. Eagles 41-17

We will see if 1 game at a time is truly on their minds. If they go in there and handle business like we know they can. We are gonna demolish Dallas as well.

Judging from the Cowboys recent remarks they’re clearly not focused on the opponent in front of them and are taking the Jaguars for granted.

Those morons were looking 2 games ahead. Hou had a golden opportunity to finish them. But they proved why they only had 1 win on the season. I'm hoping they overlook Jags as well.

They’re a team who can’t deal with the media coverage. They’re absolutely feeling themselves despite not doing anything at all, because ESPN told them they’re great. I’d say act you’ve been there before, but those guys honestly can’t.

Bears stink, especially on Defense. Even if Fields breaks a long one there is no reason Eagles shouldn't cover. This feels like the absolute easiest lock of the schedule.
