Carey wasn't available he was looking at sconces...too bad he might have knocked that ball down🤷♂️

He hasn't been good since Week 9, according to Reuben Frank's stats. Slay, like many other Eagles players is grossly overrated, I've been saying that since his first year with the Eagles, he doesn't have the footspeed to run with the faster WRs, because of that he he plays off the WR with massive cushions.
December 27, 20222 yr I see the moron is still strong in this thread. I'll say it again. It was 100% Gannons fault for the play call and still allowing Scott to be there. This is what happens when a cover 2 is called with a garbage safety who takes a horrible angle. Not sure why we picked up Harris, he didn't even play.
December 27, 20222 yr I used to hate the sticks defense but on 3rd and 30 force them to throw a short pass and give them 15 yards. No chance of a penalty, no chance of getting beat. Slay also hurt us on that 3rd down illegal contact penalty that led to a TD as well. He indirectly cost us 14 points.
December 27, 20222 yr There's the question as to who do you keep, Gardner-Johnson or Bradberry, I say keep them both and show Slay the door.

I disagree. The guy got behind Bradberry. Regardless, it was on Scott. Maddox, CJGJ or even Harris would have made that play

If Hilton had to alter his route the same way Bradberry's man had to, that would have been incomplete.

Slay thought Scott was there, he wasn't. 100% blame is on Gannon and Scott. You can hate on Slay all you want, but it was as much as your fault as it was his.
December 27, 20222 yr Hopefully we’ll see a much much better performance this upcoming game. The Eagles have shown pretty much all season that they are good at correcting/fixing mistakes they make. 👍
December 28, 20222 yr I put this on Gannon. His call to disguise the coverage forcing a late rotation to C2. His call to have Scott as the C2 Safety. His call to have Scott on the field at all. Let me be more clear. You disguise the C2 to bait the QB to throw the deep route and rotate to get the pick. So you know with a decent probability you are setting that safety up to be a playmaker by defensive design. You are setting up your backup 5th string slot CB to rotate late to a safety role to be the playmaker....

December 28, 20222 yr I'd like to see the Eagles extend Bradberry and trade Slay. Dude is getting old

He basically ignored his assignment to try and bait Dak and he got burned for it. Scott had two assignments there, but Slay’s lack of attention caused that play to happen. Not to mention his stupid illegal contact play on 4th down to keep that drive going and ending up in a score. Slay was big mistake Slay against the Cowboys. Not even nearly to the extent Diggs did on the 4th and goal TD to D. Smith. That was a gimme TD. At least the catch by TY was contested.

He pulls out some of the most irrelevant stats in the world that have nothing to do with nothing 😆. He be like "When Slay takes a deuce 3 times on game day the Eagles are 0-2. When Miles Sanders eats scrapple for breakfast 2 days before a game he has fumbled 5 times. Targets to Quez Watkins on even game weeks result in out muscled interceptions when he is 5lbs or more lighter than his defender"

December 29, 20222 yr Slay has done enough in Philly to give him respect, even if he has a bad play here and there. He has not looked like himself recently- maybe battling an undisclosed injury. That play with Scott playing over the top= Scott is more at fault than Slay.
