AJ publicly threw Minshew under the bus. You think he would do that to Hurts? Hell no. AJ didn't fight for that ball, either. Finger pointing isn't a good look. The WHOLE TEAM and all the coaches sucked Sunday. For AJ to throw Minshew under the bus publicly? Dude- YOU didn't even fight for the ball. You would have for Hurts. What's that tell us? It tells me you don't play for the TEAM, you play for your little circle and your best friend, screw everyone else. Get that sheeeeet outta here. AJ has some loser in his blood. He isn't all hero. That was a trash thing to do publicly.

Slay last week and AJ this week. You’d think this was a 3 win team with how they are throwing each other under the bus.

Just proves how Hurts is the MVP and # 11 was totally wrong. System my azzz. This team can't win with Minshew.

Coaching was the issue yesterday, plain and simple.

AJ was double covered on that slant. He was not the primary read on that play. The QB should have seen the coverage and thrown the ball elsewhere.

Agreed. Failure to run the ball and set up play action cost them the game.

They had 4 3 and outs to start the game I believe and didn’t even get a first down until less then a minute to go in the first half. Playcalling has a lot to do with that.

Yeah not so sure. Their second drive consisted of two consecutive runs and they still couldn’t get a first down. I also remember a couple sacks involved. Hard to get any good plays out of third and long.

I love brown but there are times he doesn’t give effort like he should, he should’ve tried to knock the ball down at least

He was not double covered, the LBer reacted that way when the pass was thrown.  It was 1 on 1, and AJ should have won and not ran a lazy route.

The only two running plays they called in the entire half.

And they never ran again. Then in third and 1 they decided to try some sort of a pass that ended up resulting in Minshew abandoning and running for no gain.

The team not being able to win with Minshew is a good sign this team is getting a  quick exit in the playoffs. Its an indictment of the poor coaching that with all the  talent they still need Hurts  to carry them. The coaching staff should be embarrassed.  Siri and co need to  be fired  next season. They are frauds and Hurts's performance was covering up how truly bad they are.

Didn’t they have like 3- 4 consecutive three and out series and a failed 4th down conversation though? How much can a coach do if they can’t even get a first down? I’m pretty sure Taysom Hill got less reps at quarterback than Minshew got, yet he sure looked better than he did. Also it’s pretty difficult to start running the ball with all those early sacks taken.

Early sacks don’t happen, if you’re running the ball. They had consistent 3 and outs and your starting RB had 2 Carries for 9 yards in the half. They’ve constantly talked about being able to win in different ways, and somehow every weeks seems like they forget that running the ball is good. Especially with our OL, against that defense, running should’ve been the default. Minshew should’ve thrown maybe 18-20 balls yesterday max. The rest should’ve been letting our OL dictate the game. We saw glimpses, and Miles had a good YPC average. Just need to feed him more against a poor rush defense, with your backup QB in and Lane Johnson out.

Horrible gameplanning/playcalling

Miles on one drive had his 2 Carries at set us up for a 3rd and 1. After that he didn’t play again until the 2nd half.

Then in the 2nd half he compiled 42 yards on 2 drives… and was iced out

Jordan Davis - 18 snaps.

Anyone else starting to think he's a bust?

Yep, Minshew was making terrible decisions all day yesterday. His nonchalant attitude was pudding me off. He seemed to not have a care in the world sitting on the sideline, bopping his head to the stadium music while our D was on the field. How about reviewing the plays or talking through things with the coaches or receivers.

Underprepared that’s for sure. And when they lose to the Giants things will get all the more interesting.

They beat the dogsh** out of the Giants lol. Shouldn’t say "when they lose” if they lost is fair.

The first drive started with a 6 yard sack. That Fed up any running on that series.

Second drive was three runs that failed to get a first down. The third of those runs was Minshew on a read option tho.

You just proved my point.  If they run on first down on the first drive, there is no 6 yard sack.  The second drive Sanders got 9 yards on the first two downs, then Minshew got sacked on 3rd and 1.  Why were they being cute and doing RPO with Minshew?  If they call a normal run play there that's an easy first down.

I'll agree that his talent is irreplaceable but a good gameplan giving Driscoll help when needed and proper play calling to avoid that side of the field as much as possible would go along way.

Agreed!  That’s what I conclude, as well,  no sense of urgency or no desire.  You’re showcasing yourself that you can lead a team through adversity.  Play & act like you want to take someone’s job away!  This shows to the whole league that I’m content on being the emergency qb & the goofball.  It was so frustrating to see that qb sneak & he can’t even stretch his arms, once I saw that, felt like smashing things.  3&outs was recurring theme, time to adjust & motivate the group, Gardner.

Complaining that they passed on the very first play of the game is stupid. That’s being very nitpicky. If it was a simple incompletion, they probably run on second down.

I guess I kinda agree with you about the second series. But it’s possible that was on Minshew. The RPO is obviously a very important part of our run game.

I'll agree with nitpicky, but "stupid" is a stretch.  Why not do a few run plays to start out the game to try and get the offense warmed up and get a rhythm going?  Why put your backup QB instantly in shotgun and force him to complete a deep pass?  To me THAT was stupid.

I honestly don’t spend much time thinking about play calling. I don’t know what the thought process was for Steichen and Sirianni to start with a pass. It just unfortunately didn’t work out.
