Those were my picks. I think Hargrave was deserving as well. And CJGJ would have probably been AP if he didn't get injured. Same with Hurts.

This is not the ACTUAL all pro team, this is the new players voted all pro team.  AP all pro team has yet to be announced.

I thought that too, but I found nothing to corroborate. There is no scheduled announcement of an AP all-pro team, only that every Player’s All-Pro team article simply states the NFLPA decided to do it this way this year

They are doing their own, separate from the AP

For the first time, the NFL Players Association has released its own All-Pro team recognizing the best players from the regular season.

Last year it was released the Friday before wild card weekend, so should be tomorrow.

Nice, strengthens Kelce's HoF case more.

Super Bowl Champion, 6x Pro Bowl, 4x 1st Team All Pro, getting another nod certainly won't hurt but I think his credentials are enough right now.

This is not the actual all pro, this a players only vote they did for the first time this year.

Based on last year, the AP All Pro team should be announced tomorrow, and I fully expect Kelce and Lane to be on that team.

Yeah, I noticed when it was initially released that it was NFLPA, which is (to me), akin to the Pro Bowl. But to the point of Kelce, he'll be AP All-Pro again, but even if he isn't, I don't think he needs it to fill out his HOF resume.

Funny thing, I went to the Wikipedia page for the 2022 All Pro Team yesterday, and the top 4 or 5 positions on the list were filled in with the rest blank. I went back a few hours later and refreshed the screen to see if the rest would be there, but it was gone entirely. So I caught a glimpse of it while they were filling it in when I wasn't supposed to lol.

A little disappointed Davante beat out AJ. His season was slightly superior statistically, but he didn’t have an impact on LV that AJ did here

Davante also had to do it without his top 5 TE and #2 WR to take away coverage.  He was a 1 man show.

Take away coverage, or allow the offense to force feed him the ball. That’s why CeeDee’s stats ballooned, Dak has less options than last year.

Las Vegas wasn’t better from bringing him on, they just had new problems instead. Carr wasn’t a better player with DA, whereas AJ is a huge reason Jalen is second team all-pro.

True, but that also pumps up his targets. Fewer playmakers around him means the ball is force-fed to him all game long.

Exactly. I always think of Jordan Matthews... subpar WR but he put up 85 rec, 900+ yards, and 8TD one year because he was all they had.

I get those arguments, but coverage was dedicated to him, and he did have a career high in targets.  If Carr wasn't so bad, can you imagine what he may have done with that career high in targets ??

I watched the Raiders quite a bit as I had Davante on my $$ league fantasy team, and he was getting while open while teams were trying to double cover him, bracket him.  He had a great year going to a worse situation.
