Not sure if that would be illegal, but I think normally the laws give you like a 2 or 3 year window for high schoolers. Not saying it’s definitely true, but I knew a lot of insanely wealthy parents through my HS. Pro sports team owners, heirs to multi billion global brands, etc. and I never saw anyone buy their kid’s girlfriend a brand new BMW...
