He's unconscious for over 30 seconds or more. To say he is fine is not reality. I just hope he doesn't have a fractured jaw. They said he was fine and other then being unconscious for a short period doesn't mean he has a fractured jaw.

June 23, 20205 yr I really don't believe that the health outcome of an incident should dictate the severity of the charges. Simple assault, really? That is easily an aggravated battery charge. Chump is getting off easy.

June 23, 20205 yr You can bet a few Eagles players are wanting to "discretely" go find this guy when they get a chance. Somewhere down the line- this clown gets his clock cleaned, and doesn't know who did it. It's coming, for sure.

June 26, 20205 yr If this happened in Philly with any player in any sport the rest of the world would never forget it and always bring it up about our fan base.

Also, your source does not verify your contention. All it says is that you do not have to be knocked out to have a concussion. You said the opposite. Dbag.

If every KO was a concussion, why aren’t boxers dying of CTE at age 25? Sure not all concussions cases are knockouts, but you can be knocked out without having a concussion. It’s less common but it does happen. Boxers are KOd usually because of the jaw being compressed into a nerve, not necessarily because of the brain bouncing off the skull as happens with normal concussions.

You automatically went to belittling me for asking an honest question, and you're wrong. Quote No single definition of concussion, minor head injury,[69] or mild traumatic brain injury is universally accepted.[20] In 2001, the expert Concussion in Sport Group of the first International Symposium on Concussion in Sport[18] defined concussion as "a complex pathophysiological process affecting the brain, induced by traumatic biomechanical forces."[27] It was agreed that concussion typically involves temporary impairment of neurological function that heals by itself within time, and that neuroimaging normally shows no gross structural changes to the brain as the result of the condition.[36] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Concussion#Classification Quote By definition any loss of consciousness with preceding trauma = concussion. Concussion does not require LoC (and in fact usually lacks it), but LoC secondary to head trauma does mean concussion. https://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/1m1vp6/if_you_get_knocked_out_will_you_have_a_concussion/cc5207p/ https://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/1m1vp6/if_you_get_knocked_out_will_you_have_a_concussion/ https://www.aafp.org/afp/2001/0915/p1007.html Lesson: Don't be a dbag.
