One big difference between the two Super Bowls is in the one game where our defense created a turnover, we won. In LVII, the game was tied with just over 5 minutes left. Not only couldn't our defense make a stop, they couldn't keep the Chiefs from using all the clock. Not a single sack, not a single turnover created, and they let a gimpy QB hobble for a critical 26 yard run.

Jalen's cap hit is incredibly low over the next few years due to the contract extension. It is a good time to go all in on some high priced players to help bolster the roster for the next couple seasons. Who cares about 2-3 years from now. Built to win this season and next.
