Philadelphia is about developing quarterbacks, even with Jalen Hurts reaching All-Pro and MVP status; the 49ers proved that you could never have enough quality arms on the roster or practice squad.

The draft is about reloading, and the expectation is that Howie Roseman will find starters during those three days, along with the undrafted free agent process.

With Carolina on the clock, we’re looking at one ideal prospect for the Eagles at every position in the 2023 NFL draft.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, QB, UCLA

I hoped Dorian Thompson-Robinson would fit this spot, but he appears to be rising up the draft boards.

If the former UCLA quarterback is on the board in the sixth or seventh round, Howie Roseman will move up to make the pick.

The Bruins star is the quarterback we know has had an NFL combine meeting with Philadelphia, and he’s also been to the NovaCare Complex for a top-30 visit.

During his final season with former Eagles head coach Chip Kelly, Thompson-Robinson completed 69.6 percent of his passes for 3,169 yards, 27 touchdowns, and ten interceptions for the Bruins in 2022, adding 12 rushing touchdowns.

At UCLA, the 23-year-old signal-caller completed 63.3 percent of his passes for 10,710 yards, 88 touchdowns, and 36 interceptions in his five seasons.

Similar to Jalen Hurts in size and stature(6-1, 205), Thompson-Robinson was efficient on the ground, totaling 1,826 rushing yards in his career, including a career-high 645 yards last season.

Robinson logged 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground last season while breaking 91 tackles, and he’d bring a Marshall Faulk-style smoothness to the running back position alongside Jalen Hurts.

The Longhorns star is a dynamic three-down running back that would make the Eagles much more explosive, and he’d complement Rashaad Penny thanks to his abilities as a pass catcher.

Philadelphia wouldn’t usually take a running back at No. 10 overall.

Still, Robinson is dynamic, and the extra first-round pick for a team with Super Bowl aspirations wouldn’t be the worst move a general manager could make.

On a rookie deal, Robinson would allow Brian Johnson’s offense to take shape with a game-changing dual-threat running back to help alleviate pressure off All-Pro quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Mims had 54 catches for 1,083 yards for the Sooners, and he excels at making tough catches and tracking the football.

Zack Kuntz, TE, Old Dominion

Zack Kuntz is a former Penn State commit that eventually transferred to Old Dominino and blossomed into one of the top prospects entering the 2023 NFL draft.

The 6-foot-8, 250-pound tight end played in just five games this season, catching 12 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns after suffering an injury.

Kuntz was named to several Preseason College Football All-American teams after catching 73 passes for 692 yards and five touchdowns in 2021.

A potential matchup nightmare at the next level, Kuntz runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and a 40in the vertical leap.

Blake Freeland, OT, BYU

A mobile, versatile offensive tackle, Freeland could be a player to watch in the second and third rounds.

Freeland started 41 games for the Cougars over four seasons, and at 6-foot-8 and 302 pounds, he only allowed one sack in 2022.

O'Cyrus Torrence, Guard, Florida

A monster run blocker (6-5, 337 pounds) with excellent size, Torrance is built for the Eagles’ downhill, power-based running attack.

He’d be a plug-and-play guy immediately if Philadelphia chose not to start Cam Jurgens.

Torrence is a massive offensive guard with excellent instincts and plays strength. In pass protection, he can bend his knees and play with balance. He has an immediate anchor and ample space for his quarterback to climb into the pocket.

Torrence started in eleven games this season and was the first Gators offensive guard to be named a Consensus All-American and the 34th in Florida history… Named an All-American by AFCA, Sporting News, AP, FWAA, and Walter Camp, and was named to the AP All-SEC First Team.

KJ Henry, DE, Clemson

Henry started all 14 games, logging 59 tackles, including nine stops for loss. He also broke up six passes and led the team with 24 quarterback pressures – the most by a Clemson player since Clelin Ferrell’s 24 in 2016.

Henry was a first-team All-ACC selection by the Associated Press and would fit the Eagles’ pressure scheme.

Moro Ojomo, Texas, DT

Ojomo only started five of the 12 games he played this season, but he’s an athletic marvel and a game wrecker as a pass rusher. According to Pro Football Focus, Ojomo generated a pressure rate of 17.2 percent and a pass rush win rate of 24.1 percent.

Emmanuel Forbes -- Mississippi State

Forbes patterns his game after Darius Slay, and he’s a big-play cornerback in his own right.

Forbes owns the FBS record with six career pick-sixes and is a three-year starter for the Bulldogs.

Jordan Battle, S, Alabama

A consistent player at the safety position, Battle logged 44 starts and over 3,000 defensive snaps during his time at Alabama.

Brian Branch, Slot, Alabama

A talented safety who can do it all at multiple positions, Branch can make plays in space, cover one-on-one, and assume the C.J. Gardner-Johnson role in this defense.
