April 29, 20232 yr Howie put in work. I hope one of the greatest college defenses ever assembled can be the same in the pros. We shall see. I wonder how many more UDFA bulldogs will we get? 🤔😂🤣😂

Next years draft will keep us competitive. No SB let down. I hope.
April 29, 20232 yr Wonder if one of our late rounders will go on Malik Cunningham, he'd make more sense as QB3 than Ian Book.
April 29, 20232 yr Late to the party ... but some of my thoughts on today's moves: CB/S Kelee Ringo has some inconsistency on tape, however, he's one of the youngest players in this draft at 20 and his physical traits are really, really good ... size, speed, strength ... I can see not taking him in Rd 1 as he needs some seasoning, I thought he would be a mid 2nd / early 3rd at worst with his tools and age. To grab him in Rd 4 is a steal with his upside ... especially on this team where he can take some time to learn and develop behind two top vets in Slay and Bradbury. Throw on top of that the comfort of coming in with so many other Georgia guys he already knows and it makes for a smooth transition. I think Free Safety is where his future lies as it is easier to find the ball and he can use his speed and power to just go get it! Tremendous value for the Philadelphia Bulldogs. Now on to RB Deandre Swift. Howie continues to get great value as all we gave up was a 2025 4th rounder for a player who's playing for a contract. Eagles are playing the percentages here ... neither Swift nor Rashaad Penny have proven they could stay healthy, but both have a ton of talent. The Eagles are hoping that "both" don't get hurt at the same time and in case one is hurt, the other is picking up the slack. "If" both find a way to stay healthy in this Offense and behind this Offensive Line ... either could have career years. If all else fails, the Birds still have the Gainwell/Scott combo who you could roll with for a few games. This move is a GREAT insurance policy! Kudo's to Howie Roseman this year .. I couldn't have imagined things coming together like they have.
April 29, 20232 yr Just now, LacesOut said: Ok that pick sucked. Sucky QB who does not fit this Offense. Boooooo!!!! He’s as good of a QB as you’re going to get at this point of the draft. Also, he played behind a despicable o-line.
April 29, 20232 yr I'm hoping for these UFA: Andre Carter Jaxson Kirkland Aubrey Miller Caleb Murphy Sean Tucker Bryce Ford-Wheaton

April 30, 20232 yr Agreed, it definitely looks that way on paper. I look forward to watching it grow into the expectations over the next couple years!!!
April 30, 20232 yr Looks to me like for this year there are three more spots to fill: At Safety, Linebacker and (slot) Receiver. Expect Roseman to find a very cheap starter at LB and then pour the remaining money into safety and receiver. Maybe one year prove-it if young talent can’t be had at those positions. In the near future our needs will be RT, DE and CB to replace Johnson, BG, Slay and Bradberry. Still plenty of time and we are in an excellent position now for sure.

Then he must have seen that trying to be cute and outsmart everyone else, makes you look like an idiot. He adjusted, and I respect that.
