The Eagles traded a 2024 third-round selection for pick No. 105 from the Texans. The Birds are showing aggressiveness and will have the third pick on Day 3.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman alluded to wanting the front office to have more juice in them when they walked into the building today.

The Eagles rationale is probably that their third rounder next year would be in the back half of the round. If so, it’s basically giving up 10ish spots for a current-year pick.

This is like cheating on a mock draft simulator

Opinions?

I like it.  He was the 66th best player on the PFF big board.  Predicted to go in the third.  ESPN had him as the 50th best player.  Good pick up that provides depth for when Maddox gets injured (which seems to be inevitable)

Nice

I’d have been fine with Ringo at 62.

Who is excited for Georgia vs Alabama this year?

Im talking about training camp, not college football.

Ringo is my 3rd favorite pick in this draft. 6'2 and sub 4.4 in the forty. Very talented. Already questions about his character and work ethic, BS.

OMG!! This draft has been awesome!

:groovy:

Eagles should televise camp and market it as a National Championship rematch.

And here I was thinking I can skip the start of day three because we pick late..

Another high value move.

So smart given that the 3rd next year would be closer to a 4th anyway. Howie playing chess smh

Schefter tweets eagles trade for DeAndre Swift.

May be an image of 1 person, playing football and text that says 'LIONS BREAKING NEWS FROM ADAM SCHEFTER @AdamSchefter f BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS'

This great value. He was projected as a 2nd/3rd rounder. Very talented but stiff. And he got cooked quite a few times vs good competition. BUT, he can learn under our very good, veteran cbs this year and smooth out the edges.
