Coaches/Athletes You Were Glad To See Go

In honor of Doc Rivers getting fired and Bailey Falter getting sent down, I figured I'd spark this conversation:

What coach or athlete did you want to see leave town the most?

Honestly? I think Doc Rivers barely makes the top 10.

I'm going with either Ben Simmons or Chip Kelly.

Murray from that team is someone I was glad to see gone. Same goes for Kiko Alonso

Sad thing is we were told Marsh would be a defensive upgrade and he is not

He’s also reverted back to being what he has as a hitter. Last 23 games he’s hitting .213 and 22 Ks. Granted he has a nice OBP of .400

If I had to do my Top 10:

Ben Simmons

Chip Kelly

Carson Wentz

Doc Rivers

Ryne Sandberg

Gabe Kapler

Bryan Colangelo

Byron Maxwell

Jonathan Papelbon

DeMarco Murray

Tobias Harris will definitely join this list.

If I cared more about hockey, I would probably add Bryz.

After the clown show in 2005, I was happy to say good riddance to Terrell Owens.

Eagles -- Owens (honorable mention -- Rick Kotite)

Sixers -- Ben Simmons

Phillies -- J.D. Drew (I know he never signed, but still)

Wow, no one mentioned Andrew Bynum yet?

Of course, you would actually have to be here in order to leave. The only evidence of him being here was the $35 million check.

Trea Turner might wind up on the list if he doesn't get his head out of his ass

I’m surprised I haven’t seen Scott Rolen or Lindros listed yet…

I didn't want Rolen to leave.... He wanted to leave, and I don't blame him. Those late 90s/early 2000s Phillies teams were God awful.

okay, i'll say it.

iverson.

i was done with him after the "practice" press conference & couldn't wait for them to trade his arse. great player...inspirational & fun to watch. also a bad teammate who refused to buy in.

he was 100% right about the organization at that time. i didn't want him to go either, but understood his stance.

i didnt really want lindros to go. i wanted his parents to GTFO though.

can i add hextall as GM to this list ?

I was so disappointed with his final exit. He got what he wanted. He came back here and was starting again, and just quit on the team before the season was over. The "my daughter is sick" thing was total BS, but no one really wanted to call him on it.
