Had we gotten blown out by double digit points, I wouldn't have been upset about the turf. But I'll never be convinced that our defense wouldn't have made a few more plays playing on an acceptable field, and made a difference in a 3 point game. Like for example one of those wide open red zone plays...maybe if our D-line wasn't slipping and stumbling around they would have forced Mahomes to throw it away, throw a pick or even sack him and we're the Superbowl champs. We averaged 4-5 sacks a game all season and got ZERO in the SB, against an average O-line...the turf being the only notable difference.
