BornGreen
Sipposs is PS designation, being the only one. That does not make the sure thing. Waiting for possible other punter cuts? Punt God maybe?? Maybe we aren’t ever punting!!!

Traveler Vic
I like Gillikin. Saints wanted to keep him on the practice squad. He is the best of the 3 punters that we worked out today.
SkippyX
Gillikin was 21st in gross and 14th in net in 2022. He was 6th and 8th in 2021. Non-statisticians refer to him as a page 1 of the chart punter. Statisticians refer to those numbers as sucking much less than Siposs. Plus if he makes a returner fair catch the ball between the 5 and the 10 we can say that guy is on Gillikin's Island. 1

Sometimes people have off years, but get back to form.He is not a RB. It is not like he was worn out by having physical contact.

All players bounce around in rankings but I will take the guy bouncing between 7th and 18th over the clown hanging around the low 20s.
ilikepargo
Ok. I'll do it. My kicking foot has a fused ankle, so that might make things a little weird. And the honest truth is that I couldn't punt for carp even before my injury. But we need someone other than Sipposs, right?
UK_EaglesFan89
If Siposs was the punter you may as well just never punt! He’s not good, not good at all.
wyote
I'll just say it. Jason Kelce is going to be punting. But on 4th & 5 or less they're going to go for it anyway.
Infam
We should‘ve just kept Cameron Johnston.

He was offered $2.5 mill a year by Houston and Howie has positions he just doesn't like spending money on, and to be fair to him, the difference between a good punter and a bad punter isn't moving the needle that much in terms of winning, but we've let the rest of our special teams go to crap as well which magnifies Siposs' deficiencies.

Donnie Jones and Cam Johnston were genuinely good punters, Siposs is another Chas Henry / Matt McBriar type, not flat out embarassingly bad like a Reggie Hodges but never going to be a great.

Accurate except Siposs also chokes in big spots which makes him that much worse. Some people like to view Howie an infallible now but this is one he got wrong. We literally don't have a punter worthy of the 53-man roster right now. I know the PS call up part but still he's that bad 3

Yeah Clay stinks too. I'm excited for the season and have predicted 12-5 and think the Eagles will be the top team in NFC but I expect special teams will be a nagging problem

LacesOut
STs might be a disaster this season. No punter, already have injuries, ugh. I wonder if the sole reason they are keeping him as the Punter is because he holds for Jake. And thank god this team has Jake.

It would really , really suck if we do get close to SB but loose out because of our not so special teams. So much invested in other areas, and one completely ignored. I get that with the new KR rules and with teams punting less that ST is probably less emphasized than before but yeah it's been completely ignored
