Very, very nice first game.

Birds played a C+ game on the road in bad weather and still won.

Having an uber talented roster sure helps.

Bright spots for the game was Carter and Elliot. Not sure anyone else deserves it.

I do think Johnson needs to reel it back with these designed QB runs. I understand you have to keep the opposing defense on their toes, but it's eventually going to get him injured. 

That second quarter was the worst football I've seen from the Eagles in quite a while

It’s the first time a lot of these guys have played in an actual game since the Super Bowl. Not worried or over concerned but got the win

My concern also....I really wish they would stop with that.....

Crap play calling outside the first quarter pretty much. Too many WR screens and not enough actual RB runs. Need to stick to running the HBs between the tackles. That is when we are most dangerous.

I was concerned as soon as Penny was a scratch.... saw this game coming a mile away.

Like I said, there are problems.  But overanalyzing a Bad Weather Road Game isn't where I'm at after they still got the W.  If any of this stuff continues then we can have a discussion.  Plus we don't have time to complain.  Vikings took a Tough Loss and will be looking to not fall to 0-2.  Jalen looked a little out of sync but give Belichick credit.  He made adjustments after the 1st QTR.   The bottom line, Tom Brady had to watch the Birds walk out of Gillette with that W.

If that’s the case Taylor needs to be in Philly week 4. 

Sep is the new pre season (for the last half decade ish). Jus gotta stack the wins because they can be the difference come playoff time w seeding 

 

That said...we got A LOT of work to do going forward 

If they have a game like this on the road against the Bucs then be concerned
