Week 2 Discussion

TNF started with an Eagles win at home against the Vikings. The Eagles run game put up a total of 259 yards.

Green Bay goes to Atlanta where Jordan Love is coming off a 3 TD game against the Bears and looking to get the Packers off to a 2-0 start, both on the road.

Josh Allen and the Bills welcome in the Raiders. Buffalo looking to come out with a win after an emotional loss in week 1.

AFC North matchup between the Ravens and Bengals. I expect a much better game for the Bengals, especially Burrow who was benched late in the 4th quarter last week and not even reaching 100 yards passing.

The Lions are at home after beating the Chiefs in week 1. They play the Seahawks. The Lions are a well coached team and look to get to 2-0.

Herbert and the Chargers go on the road to play the Titans. They haven't won in their past two trips to Nashville and are coming off a 36-34 loss to Miami where they gave up a league-high 466 yards passing.

Tampa Bay coming off a big road win against the Vikings go home to play Fields and the Bears. Turnovers and poor decisions in the pocket have hampered the No. 1 overall pick from the 2018 draft throughout his pro career, however Mayfield has done a nice job of taking care of the football since joining the Bucs.

The Chiefs could very likely go 0-2 to start the season. They are on the road in Jacksonville to play a very talented offense in the Jaguars.

A pair of 0-2 AFC South teams between the Colts and Texans. Also a matchup between two rookie QBs. Richardson certainly learned a lot in his first NFL game, but perhaps the most important thing the dual-threat QB took from his first start was that he’ll need to slide more at the end of runs.

Always wa tough matchup between Sean McVay and Kyle Shannahan. The Niners are on the road to play the Rams at Sofi. The most recent time the 49ers lost a regular-season game to the Rams, Brock Purdy had lost the Alamo Bowl two days earlier as Iowa State's freshman quarterback.

The Giants go out to Arizona to play a Cardinals team that put up a fight last week in Washington. Cardinals quarterback Joshua Dobbs will start for a second straight game after being acquired in a trade just two weeks before the season opener.

Late afternoon kickoff in Denver as the Commanders come to town. he Broncos protected Wilson better in their opener, but didn't do much with a paltry six total possessions.

No more Rodgers for the Jets as I'm still in shock as I'm sure the rest of the NFL world still is. Let's see if the Jets defense can slow down the Cowboys offense.

SNF between the Dolphins and Patriots. The Dolphins coming off a high scoring back and forth game against the Chargers while Mac Jones and the Patriots are looking to avoid going 0-2 at home to start the season.

There are 2 MNF games this week. The first between the Saints and Panthers in Carolina and the Browns and Steelers from Pittsburgh.

Well after five quarters of football this season the bengals look awful. Joe burrows didn’t reach 100 yards last week as pointed out in the OP and he had 35 at half time week. The Bengals have ten points but that doesn’t tell the full story.
