July 15, 20204 yr Finally watched last night - fantastic. I actually felt angry that those guys had to defend such an indefensible location - like who makes these decisions?
July 15, 20204 yr I watched the documentary of the stories behind congressional medal of honor winners. This looks like the movie version of the one where the government screwed the soldiers by putting these guys in a sitting duck base. Could not ask for a worse position in a war, but par for the course for careerist politicians at the time. /end rant Courage was like a pre-requisite to even step foot on that base. Looking forward to seeing it.
