With Dallas getting all the defensive hype, some things are going under the radar.

 

I dont think we're better right now, to be honest. Hurts seems out of sorts.

Whoever gets the #1seed most likely goes to the SB. Whether thats the Eagles, Cowboys, or 49ers.

I mean I hate Dallas too but Dak seems to win enough games against us unfortunately. 

I don't care about anything Dallas is doing or how they are looking until November 6th. Not even paying any attention to them at this point.

I blame Hurts initial rust on the Eagles not sustaining a solid running game (in the first ). Cudos to Patriots for inventing some designer blitzes and showing the NFL Eagles protection weakness that we need to overcome. I blame Johnson especially. Eagles did however emphasize running  in the second game and that nullified opposing team trickery and blitzes, and had Cousins sitting on the bench. In the second half of the second game Hurts started showing promising signs of life. Looking forward to running straight down Dallas throat. Strong Running game will defeat Parsons blitzes, and just like the Vikings, will bring their safeties close to the line. At that point we can take some shots down the field. It will be a slug fest, but I hope Eagles will prevail, because it is Eagles type of game. Down and dirty in the trenches. Go Eagles.

Which isnt Kellen Moore but still McCarthy has a lot of say last year as well and is an experienced play caller.

Brian Johnson is a 1st year play caller and so far has struggled.

Quinn at DC is a proven DC and been with Dallas for a few years now where as Desai 1st year in Philly.

Dallas has a bit more stability at coaching than the eagles this year.

We'll see how it shakes out though.

McCarthy had no say which is why he let Moore go. If you watch the Chargers this year they look exactly like the Cowboys did last year. And the Cowboys offense looks completely different.

People can pretend just because the Cowboys haven't won in 28 years means they won't win this year.....but they'll be fooling themselves. Cowboys sucked 28 years ago. They sucked 20 years ago. Sucked 13 years ago....truthfully, the Cowboys have been a legit playoff team since 2014. They were a legit playoff team last year and lost to a good 49ers team. 

 

They are a good team. Eagles are a good team. 49ers are a good team. THe objective is to get home field because that may be the difference in losing in the 1st round or getting to the SB. Right now San Fran and Dallas look better than the Eagles. That can change at some point.

They certainly have the more seasoned coaching staff, can't argue against that.

Went to Costco today they have 3 isles of Christmas stuff set up already.

I have a strict rule that I don't talk about Christmas untill at least December, it's not even October yet, we have Halloween and thanksgiving before we even get to the most over commercialized over hyped holiday of the year.

I work in retail I hate all the holidays, especially Christmas because we are ordering stuff for it in F'n June!

Agreed........just trying to put a damper on the "how great dallas is" talk.......

Their biggest weakness right now is size on defense. Power teams like us and the 49'ers can push them around in the trenches. They'll get you if you try a bunch of motion but if you hit them in the mouth, they'll fold. That combined with Diggs going out for the season leaves them with some holes.

 

Hate to see a guy go out like that even if he is a cowgirl. Take our blessings, I guess.

 

Just an intriguing stat but the Eagles have scored more Touchdowns on offense then the vaunted cowgirls.

Kind of skewed though. Cowboys defense in week 1 did some scoring for them.

Miami isn't even in our Conference. They have no bearing on us making the playoffs (besides our one OOC game with them). Meanwhile Dallas is in our division. So yes, what Dallas does matters much more.

Nah they mean nothing. If anything I’m more concerned over SF than Dallas. People are saying the Eagles played nobody. Who has Dallas beat?  Those bums are finding away to lose to Arizona right now. 

Seriously if the Cowboys lose this game this thread should be closed immediately. 😂🤣😂
