Just wasn’t necessary bud. The run game was killing them. The short game was effective. The bomb wasn’t needed.

These long throws in-between are what makes our run game unstoppable imo.

Yall need to calm down about Hurts. I may be the sole person who says this but BOTH those interceptions were on Smitty.....the first one, he ran the wrong route or something....the second one, he didn't fight for the ball and we all have seen him do just that.....the defender made a great play on the ball....

Calm down....sheesh

Was Brown just taking a breather or was he injured?

Did Brown get knocked up on that last play? He stayed on one knee for a bit.

Gonna have to wait for the test results

Was just about to say that. They feel like the game is in hand and just using this as some time to work on the passing game.

Usually later in the game with a commanding lead you’d run the ball. Combine that with how potent our run game has been and that’s the only real explanation for it.

they're taking what the defense is giving them. stacking the box, playing deep to stop the ball over the top. play what's there, that's smart instead of forcing things. and it's working

I noticed too.

he gave a thumbs up just before the commercial, he's fine, he just wanted that touchdown.

He's fine, just before it cut to commercial you can see him say he is fine.

trying hard to get AJ that TD lol

They're dying to get AJ a TD

He's trying too hard to target Brown

Come on Brown right in your hands.

I mean look I do agree if there’s any player you can have faith in to get it right it’s Hurts as he’ll work hard. He’s going to put a lot of blame on his shoulders no doubt. But through three weeks I think it’s fair to be concerned with what we’ve seen.

I can’t say I’m concerned yet especially since they’re winning games. I think both the QB and the coach need to get it together. It’s going to happen. Don’t worry.

Damn Hurts sucks. Threw the ball right into Browns bucket

What about the missed reads, failing to scan the field and getting scared in the pocket for the last three weeks?

Did AJ just drop a TD?

how did he drop that?

But we're going with an empty backfield on those plays, no reason to stack the box.

Right in his hands

What I would say for Hurts is on another day he could have had 1-2 TD passes to Brown. Couple of plays you’d expect AJ to make the catch.

That was an odd drop

2 TD drops by Brown?

This team is wrong for not giving swift his touchdown attempts here.
