They should cut him, but they won't. The Eagles' response basically says they want to work with him, so he's coming back.  He will probably have to take a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance and provide his receipt to prove he went. And, that will be about it.   But, he is going to be walking a fine line going forward.  This is a 33 year old player who should know better, so they won't put up with much more than this.  Plus, his injury history, on top of matters. If his bad decisions don't get him, the blocking sled probably will.

Blocking sleds are the heroic statues of white slave owners.  They must be removed form the field.

Do we think the Eagles cut him?

It was obvious he wasn't calling out the Jewish faith or endorsing the holocaust.

Anybody who read the message and went in that direction is being too sensitive and a drama queen. This era of finding anyway to be offended needs to give way to common sense and taking things in context. Anybody who took from this anything offensive fails at both.

Tldr; Drama queens being dramatic. Nothing to see here. Move along.

No

100% no chance

Who cares. People are just too sensitive anymore. Anything anyone posts, says or does is offensive to someone now.

Social media is the real problem. Internet has been so great but also so bad for this world. Take me back to the 80's. Get the Delorean ready.

I wouldn't say 'no chance', but they'd probably create a reverse firestorm by releasing him after keeping Riley Cooper when he showed his ignorance.

My question in this case would be, is Jackson worth the headache, at this point in his career?

This discussion would have been rad if bobbyizdum was around.

If DeSean was white he would have already been cut, tarred and feathered and castrated.

If desean was white he wouldn't feel the need to post what he posted.

You seem to forget the great Riley Cooper who got an EXTENSION after his blunder. These players are just dumb though. Just dumb.

He won't get cut. He probably will have to take some sensitivity training and maybe make a donation to a Jewish charity.

You cut terrible people, but you don't cut people just for being idiots. I get why he posted it, and I 100% believe he genuinely didn't understand the connotations of it.

Honestly you're kidding yourself, there's no way a team with a Jewish owner and GM is going to let that go unpunished,  he is genuinely at risk of being cut IMO.

I'll bet Lurie wants to see contrition and education on Desean's part and then he'll try and set an example of forgiveness.  I'm on board with that.

Because of the backlash they'd get. They set precedent when they didn't cut Cooper and then gave him an extension

There was also the major F up of putting him on the month of February for the calendar

Seems like a case of being an ignorant dope. I don't see a headache really. He apologized and it initially didn't seem like he did it with malice.

It's amazing because a lot of them come from very good schools

Jew here, I forgive him and he seems sincere

Good for Desean, anytime someone calls out Israel they get hammered.

Deseans quote isnt referring to every american jew, like roseman and lurie its referring to the Israeli state and Zionism which the US government funds, and its questionable desean is even aware of the anti zionist aspect of this quote and if he is it seems his message is for black people not anti zionism.

Why does the US give Israel more foreign Aid than any other foreign country?

Why does the US not condemn the slaughter of Palestinians by israel?

If one asks these questions one is either branded un american or anti semite.

Im actually surprised by the reaction of posters on this board who spend weeks claiming free speech rights then when a black athlete says something they dont agree with then all the sudden free speech goes out the window and public apologies are in order to soothe the offended.

Free speech is free speech is it not?

Free speech only protects you against the government. Corporations can fire your a**.

Yup. Even more now that everyone has a freaking Twitter, IG, etc account.

Exactly how I feel.  While the internet is great for many things, allowing the entire country and world to socialize with each other has obviously backfired.  People cant handle it.

It was only a matter of time until the "thug" in him came out, which many of us believed was just his youth. It wasn't. The guy loved what Hitler had to say, which is just stupid to show in public and have in your heart. What a shame- he seemed like he matured and was a good guy in his older age. Don't let anyone fool you, what he said here is ridiculous, filled with hate and hurt a LOT of people. It also showed what DJax IS. I don't know where you got YOUR bible, but it smalls like smoke from the pit from here. Devil blinded your sorry a**.

You don't trash a race, a religion, and spew that kind of poison, especially in these times. His apology was as lame as it gets- he MEANT everything he said. Lurie will probably just punish him, not let him go, due to the heated racial climate in the USA right now. Forget race for a second- any Hitler loving **** needs to go- period, I don't give a shi* if you are purple, green, or polka dotted. With all the racial healing this country needs right now, we don't need ANY race trashing other races- NONE. We need love and healing, not hate and injury. DJax- I reject people like you. Buh bye, hateful idiot.

Welp, this offseason is off to a rousing start. Brooks out for the season.  Now, Jackson makes anti-Jewish posts.   This might not end well.

He is too old to play- he just wants the checks to roll in. He does NOT give an F about anyone but himself. Get rid of him. He is NOT an Eagle.
