Essentially what Media Matters is alleged to have done is akin to buying chicken from a butcher, pour bleach on it, then run around telling the other customers that they found bleach on the chicken they bought.  They manipulated the product then ran to advertisers claiming they just found it that way.  If true, it's illegal, as it should be, and anyone arguing otherwise is just an immoral hack.

In the video of the car sailing through the air it looks like they hit the curb heading directly at the US Customs building.

I used an arrow to chart the path of the car below.
